The college has all the necessary equipments, facilities and the new lab equipments, new equipments were also introduced by the end of 2021 in botany department laboratory. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, green boards but they don't have ac. The central Library has all the relevent topics and much more and the department library constitute all necessary books and articles. There's hostel available in campus but they have very strict rules and guidelines.
I studied botany hons. The teachers are nice and helpful but not really interested in the students. The curriculum is not really updated and doesn't include recent topics. It does not have job placements.
There's no placements for the botany students here. It's mostly for the bcom students. Placements here are not up to par. You won't be really satisfied with the placements here. Although I suggest to look for someone from the b.com for better review regarding this section.
The cost was average but higher with regard to other campuses in the vicinity. We had higher fee than the previous year and our fee receipt had a bunch of weird non necessary add ons fee and they were around 10k for each.
There's many restrictions on campus. You're not allowed to wear leggings or pants. Dress code is strictly salwar suit. Phones are not allowed to be used in the campus freely. The location is safe tho, it's just opposite the high court of patna and there's sufficient security there.
Outstanding infrastructure, proper hygiene was maintained, library was good and quiet, all the latest technology were available in the classroom and the campus. Large screen was used for teaching. PPT was provided.
I studied B.Ed as I was interested in teaching. Teaching faculties were ausumn. Yes the curriculum was updated as it was two year b.ed. and we were provided with updated notes and study materials. Nice
Good placements ,many students were selected for different schools. Approximately 80%placements had taken place with highest package of 35 thousand. The minimum package was 18 thousand. Yes my college was supportive.
It was Expensive . 80 thousand per year. It was a two year course.
It were the best days of my life. College campus was good though a little bit small. 100 students were there in one year.
Best experience
Infrastructure of college upto the mark ... classroom are well maintained and clean .CFL light used in all building of classroom ... college library is very good all book were available .... science laboratory is also there for students....
Academics is excellent.... quality of teachers is excellent . Teacher qualified with NET..but vocational courses are more better than normal course vocational provide easily placement....other activities are also provided to students
Placement process is not easy because all students not got placement ... vocational training not provided to students... emerging company not coming for placement ....in my course there is no placement because no vocational training...
Not high it is affordable......
College campus maintain eco-friendly environment .......... campus provide greenery to all...
Overall hood
The college infrastructure is outdated and in dire need of renovation. Classrooms are cramped and poorly ventilated with old furniture and malfunctioning equipment. The library is poorly stocked with dated and irrelevant materials, and the WiFi connection is slow or unavailable in many areas. The campus is unkempt, with potholed pathways and overgrown shrubs, giving it a dreary appearance.
The college's academic program is lackluster, with a shallow curriculum that does not challenge the students' intellectual abilities. The faculty is disinterested and unapproachable, with a poor track record of academic accomplishments or publications. The coursework is outdated and irrelevant to the contemporary job market, making the students ill-prepared for the challenges of the real world.
The college's placement record is terrible, with few graduates finding decent jobs in their fields. The career services team is disorganized and unhelpful, with limited outreach efforts to connect students with potential employers. The coursework does not provide practical skills or hands-on experience, which puts graduates at a disadvantage in the highly competitive job market. Avoid this college if you want to have a successful career in your chosen field.
Average college
College is very neat and clean. The building is fantastic. Classroom are neat and clean with all the required facilities. It also has liberary and laboratory in my college. Canteen is also there with good quality food.
Teachers are very disciplined and strict. Quality of teaching is average. They do not give proper attention to every student specially at the time exams. Students have to self study to understand the concepts.
When I was studying in the college at than time there was no placement for the commerce students. College also do not provide any skills enhancement course for getting placement. Commerce students are provided any skills enhancement course.
The college is very expensive. I paid 80000 per year for B.com but my money is not worthy as college did provide any placement and academic facilities which can be helpful for my future growth. The examination fees was also so very high.
There were so many cultural activities in my college. Students involved in Dancing , Drama, Singing, Musical activities. Teachers also supported Student in organising the activities properly. College is at prime location with proper safety.
Patna Women's College is extremely prominent in context of infrastructure and course provided. It provides all necessary equipment like Clean classroom and campus, enchanting labs, many sports facilities along with extra curricular activities facilities. There's a big seminar hall and stage hall there. There's both digital and classroom library hall. The whole campus is very hygienic and clean.
I'm studying B.A in history honours as it totally my subject. It help me to learn about my roots and it's inauguration as well. My curriculum is totally updated and it makes me industry ready as well.
Generally, Vocational and other B.com sector do have the enticing placement opportunities. For B.A course we are being guided to focus on government sector and other relevant field as well. But other department are blessed with enchanting opportunity and great placement record though.
It's around 35000-/ per year for my B.A in History honours course. And it's totally worth it. Now I'm a prominent graduate from my university.
My college campus is very cheerful as there are enormous activities have been organised and been celebrated enthusiastically. Activities like Holi Milan, shravani, Christmas Carol competition, women's day celebration ect. My college promotes our indian culture especially bihar tradition.
Everything is so amazing and enchanting. Patna Women's College is a brand itself and very classic institution for all women's.
Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms has smart boards, single-chairs and the laboratories have all the important stuff like tools and scales. All are used and well maintained. The living spaces are clean.
I'm pursuing psychology there. The quality of teaching is excellent. The professors are highly qualified, knowledgeable and polite. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
I don't know much about the placement process, but from what I've heard, students are placed every year with good salary packages. The college also provides a lot of help during the process. For more information, you can check the college website.
BA costs 32-33k per year. Fees is surely expensive but I think it's worth it because PWC is the best college for women in Bihar. It's highly prestigious. Spending three years here will definitely boost your confidence.
Best features- students can engage in various activities like sports, drama, music, debates, etc. College is indulged in social work too. Worst features- you cannot use cellphones in campus, there is a dress code which you have to follow.
My college infrastructure is very awesome. I have Library, well structured department and wi-fi also.It is very good. All labs are very well maintained and students are very happy with the maintenance. All the sports activities are going well and they make them students happy as well as fit.
I am pursuing B.Sc with Mathematics honours. Our professors are very supportive and they also let us about great opportunity. My teachers always supports us and make us confident for all the difficulties in future.
Quality of placement is good but it is not for all the streams. Every year 25% of students placement done in very good companies and they are very happy because it is very difficult to get job with graduation basis.
My course costs 45,000/- per year. I feel it is bit expensive but it is worth of money.
Our college is situated at the cream of Patna and campus is so awesome.
Over all college experience is very good.
