Phaltan Education Society Institution of Engineering (PESCOE) Satara offers a range of undergraduate engineering courses and diplomas. Admission to PESCOE is aimed at selecting brilliant and deserving candidates for various courses.
Admission cycle generally follows that academic year, beginning about August-September. There is an application procedure pattern followed based on national and state level entrance examinations. Admission of undergraduate programs (BE) are through JEE Main and MHT CET scores, while the diploma programs have a separate admission procedure.
For B.E program eligibility, students had to clear their 10+2 with the compulsory subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In anticipated programs, 50% marks in totalism should usually be needed; however, the cutoff so prescribed might differ. The admission date would coincide with the JEE Main and MHT CET examination dates. For BE Programs:

For Diploma Programs:

Selection Process:
Selection for B.E. programs is usually made based on the general ranking either from JEE Main or from MHT CET that is done in a centralized way through counseling.
In diploma programs, however, selection may depend on the performance either from an entrance examination or from the marks scored in the 10th standard according to the admission policy of the state concerned.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): There were five programs within B.E. offered by PESCOE: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Admission into these is based on the entrance scores of JEE Main or MHT CET. The total sanctioned capacity for the B.E. programs stands at 300 seats with Computer Engineering being the most preferred with an intake of 120 seats. The admission is processed through the centralized mechanism laid down by the state authorities after the entrance tests.
Diploma Programs: PESCOE conducts four Diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering. The total of approved intake capacity is 270 seats for diploma programs. Differently from those of the B.E. program, the differential admission processes for diploma courses often include the state-level entrance examination or merit-based selection.
