In 1999, Pillai College of Engineering New Panvel, was established and is autonomous. This college is approved as per AICTE norms and is a Co-Ed Institution. This college is an autonomous college of University of Mumbai, Mumbai. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students who want to pursue in the fields of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Materials Science and Technology, Information Technology and others. 

Pillai College of Engineering New Panvel also called PCE New Panvel courses include B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M. Tech and Ph.D. Admission into these UG courses is given based on the JEE Main and MHT CET scores acquired by the students. GATE scores are considered for admission into PG courses at Pillai College of Engineering New Panvel.
