The Candidatemust have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XII^th Standard) Examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

1. SCIENCE STREAM (GENERAL):

• English (Higher or Lower level) carrying 100 marks.
• Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any Classical Language or Information Technology carrying 100 marks.
• Any four subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 400 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Geography, Economics, Geology, Psychology.

OR

• Any three subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 300 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Geography, Economics, Geology, Psychology, and
• Anyone optional subject carrying 100 marks as prescribed for the HSC (XII^thStandard) Examination.

OR

1. VOCATIONAL STREAM:

Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XII^th Standard) Examination with Vocational subjects conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

• English (Higher or Lower level) carrying 100 marks.
• Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks prescribed for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XII^thStandard) Examination under the Technical, Commerce, Agriculture, Catering & Food Technology or Fisheries Groups.
• Any three subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 300 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics.
