24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Community Health Nursing is a full-time two-year postgraduate course. Offered by the Pondicherry University, Puducherry with the approval of Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who fulfills the following shall be eligible for M.Sc.(N) programme:
1. The candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2. The minimum education requirement shall be pass in B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing Hons with a minimum
of 55% aggregate mark in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. Shall have a minimum one year of work experience after B.Sc Nursing.
4. Shall have a minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
5. The candidate shall be medically fit.
Admission Details
Selection of the candidates is based on the merit of the Entrance Examination held by University or Competent Authority. Admissions are done through Registrar office Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry.
