Pragati College, Raipur, was established in the year 2000. It is situated in Choubey Colony, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The admission process at Pragati College is conducted under the explicit instructions and guidelines of the Higher Education Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh. The undergraduate courses, such as B.Com, BBA, BCA, and B.Sc Computer Science, are admitted in regular course pattern annually. For the B.Ed course, admissions are done centrally through counseling by CG VYAPAM, Raipur, through a Common Entrance Examination. For D.Ed course admission is done on the basis of a state-level Pre-D.Ed entrance examination. Admission to postgraduate courses in M.Com. and M.Ed. is on the basis of merit, based on the marks secured at the respective bachelor's degree levels. The college follows the rules and regulations of the State Government in regard to reservations at the time of admission.
