24 MonthsDiploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a two-year full-time diploma course offered by Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Science stream with not less than 50% marks in aggregate with the combination of P.C.M. or P.C.B or P.C.M.B with English as one of the subjects. Pass marks should be obtained separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Mathematics without grace marks.
- The first year of the three-year degree course in Science.
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is equivalent to any of the above examinations.
- Candidates must not be less than 17 years and not more than 24 years of age on the 31st of December of the year in which the admission is sought. For SC/ST candidates, age may be relaxed by 3 years.
- In the case of students belonging to SC/ST/ or Category- I, the minimum percentage of marks for admission to B.Pharm course shall be not less than 45% in 10+2 or equivalent examination (P.C.B, or P.C.M. or P.C.M.B.) with English as one of the subject. Pass marks should be obtained separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Mathematics without grace marks.
- In respect of candidates who have taken P.C.M.B. Combination the aggregate of P.C.M. or P.C.B. whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission.
