NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Kamrup (NIPS) is one of the premier pharmacy-education institutions. The institute is located at Santipur, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam, with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), thus ensuring a high standard of pharmacy education.

NIPS offers two specialized pharmacy courses. The admission process at NIPS aims at qualifying candidates for the pharmacy programs. Degree-wise Admission Process

D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy):
A 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy study program is offered by NIPS. The course accepts an intake of 60 students. Admission into the D.Pharma program is based on merit considering the candidate's performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination wherein Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are core subjects.

B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy):
The institute also offers a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy course with an intake of 60 students. The admission process for B.Pharma is competitive and based on academic merit, as assessed through the 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Both programs are formulated to achieve comprehensive knowledge and practical skills transfer in the pharmacy discipline. The institute has well-equipped laboratories covering 25,000 square feet where students gain various practical experiences in pharmaceutical sciences.
