Raiganj Educare Teachers Training College, Uttar Dinajpur Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Raiganj Educare Teachers Training College is located in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal, India, and is a co-educational institution geared towards teacher training programs alone, under the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) affiliation. The admissions process of the Raiganj Educare Teachers Training College is through eligible candidates into B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs. Admissions will be purely on merit, based on qualifying examination marks and/or entrance examination. 

All admission policies will follow the instructions from the State Government of West Bengal and the affiliated University. There is admission every year for the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses. Candidates will be given priority based on the marks they attained in the qualifying examinations, which is the primary criterion for admission. Application Process

The application to follow is:

1. Notification: The institution will make the announcement regarding the admissions at its official website and other media channels.

2. Application Form: The aspirants need to acquire and fill in the application form. Most probably it will be available either online on the university's site or at college campus.

3. Document Submission: Eligible candidates shall submit the finished (completed) application form attached to the following documents which must include:

4. Entrance Examination: Depending on the course and current admission policy, candidates may need to appear for an entrance examination.

6. Counselling and Admission: The shortlisted candidates shall be called for counselling, whereby they shall verify documents and pay the requisite fees for their admission to be confirmed.

7. Orientation: New students are onboarded through an orientation program with the college and its facilities.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): This is a two years full time course offered by the Raiganj institute with an intake of a hundred students in the B. Ed scheme. The admission to this program is purely based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Additional criteria may be included as per policy of the state government and that of the affiliated university. Instruction is in Bengali.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program is also a two-year full-time course, with an intake capacity of 100 per year. Like the B.Ed program, merit is the basis for admission to D. El. Ed, which considers the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Under program guarantees, admission is also determined by the State Government of West Bengal. The medium of instruction is also in Bengali, like with the D.El.Ed course.
