Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh College of Pharmacy, Amethi, was established in the year 2004 as one of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college is spread over 7.79 acres in Maharaja Bhagwan Baksh Sinh Nagar. It is a recognised institute of Pharmaceutical Council, imparting quality pharmaceutical education through its program for the development of future professionals in the very field of pharmacy. Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh College of Pharmacy provides three full-time courses: B.Pharma, D.Pharm, and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics. The intake available for the B.Pharma course is 100, for D.Pharm it is 60, and for M.Pharm Pharmaceutics, the intake available is 12. These various programs address the needs of students at all levels of pharmaceutical education, from diplomas to postgraduate studies. The college's admission process in B.Pharma is as per the norms determined by the Academic Council of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Scores of the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination are taken by the college for the B.Pharma admission process. The admission to D. Pharm courses is based on merit, while the qualification-based entrance examination in various programmes is conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. Admission in M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics can be made on the basis of GPAT scores or merit in the qualifying examination conducted by AKTU. Lateral entry into the second year (third semester) of B. Pharma is also available for diploma holders in the institution.
