At the college, RSM Poly CAP admission process is done for listing out candidates on the basis of their performance in their past academic records. However, the institute releases the RSM Polytechnic cut off list after CAP to shortlist candidates for RSM Poly diploma admissions. Students must have passed SSC with science stream and aggregate 35% marks to get admission in 3 years duration of the Polytechnic Program and 2 years for HSC or Class 10 + ITI (MCVC) from any recognized Board. RSM Polytechnic admission to students is given if eligibility criteria and other guidelines prescribed by DTE or MSBTE, Mumbai are met.
