Being a student of rajdhani i would surely suggest you this college.it is the best college in the west campus. The students easily get placed in highly esteemed MNCs through central placement cell and the college internship programme. The college regularly organises job fest after the month of March. Companies like HP, Vivo, Outlook, GMR, Haptik, Paytm, etc. come to hire the students. The infrastructure is good. There are separate buildings for arts, science and commerce faculties. There are a huge library and reading room. There are 1 auditorium and 1 seminar room (fully AC). The canteen is large and well maintained. There are separate girls common room and a hall for lunch and hanging out.Besides these, there are computer lab, first aid room, sports room and a huge ground for all sports. The college is situated on Mahatma Gandhi Road (Ring Road). It is easy to reach. Besides educational activities, there are drama society, musical society and debate society. Besides these, there are women development cell, NCC and NSS. Equal opportunity cell is one of the core groups of college to give equal opportunity to the disabled.

Rajdhani college, one of the prestigious college of Du

It is a decent college. The teachers here are very helpful and friendly, especially in the Department of Chemistry. The canteen is decent but needs more maintenance. The rooms are a bit small compared to the crowd for accommodation in lectures. The new block has good rooms but lectures hardly take place there. The college ground is big and very good, it is perfect for hangout but in sports, it is mostly utilised for cricket while other sports are neglected. The crowd has decent and helpful people. There is no medical room or medical facilities whatsoever in the college. Societies for various activities exist but there is a lack of interest from the administration. Some societies have a pitiable excuse for a room. The campus life here, just like any other DU college life is amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. A student learns not only his studies but a lot of things about life in college. Seriously, you'll remember these as the best days of your life.

My college experience turns out to be a good one specially because of the teachers i had. They were very cooperative and expert in their work.Batch mates were okay but the friends i made are very close to me. Our departmental fest were really excellent which gave students the chance to show their talent and helps them to open up on the stage. Even college fest were good as they invited celebrities to perform in the fest

I got admission in one of the reputed course of Delhi University i.e. B.A. (H) English in Rajdhani College. To be very honest I wasn’t happy when I first entered the college campus. But as soon as I became a part of it, I fell in love with my college. Infrastructure wise it’s not so cool. But it does have a decent infrastructure which is quite satisfactory. The college library is among the best college libraries of Delhi University. But we don’t have hostel facility so students have to stay in pgs. The crowd of college is good. There are students from many states of India. I must admit that I have friends not just from English department but from other departments as well. Overall Rajdhani College provided me a cordial experience. And to be a part of this college is like being a member of one big family. And I feel fortunate to pursue Masters too from my college. I can proudly assert I’m still a part of this college and love being here. One of the primo things for me is the faculty members. We have the coolest teachers in our department. The teachers are always there to guide students not just in academics but in so many other things as well. And the best part is that they don’t judge students. Every student is important to them. Instead of complaining they lend a hand for the improvement in students. An effective classroom environment is maintained for maximum participation of students. We have many societies in our college as well. There is Street play society called “TRIUMBKAM”, Photography society called “TASVEER”, Women Development Cell, English Literary Association, Debating Society, Fashion society, Equal Opportunity Cell, NSS and NCC .The NCC unit of our college stands among the best NCC units of Delhi University. These societies and cells are responsible for various events. I have been part of Women Development Cell and English Literary Association throughout my graduation years. All the events were really useful and I have gained lot of experience by being a part of them. The annual fest called “THUNDERSTRUCK” is not equivalent to fests of North Campus colleges. But we always try to do something good in our annual fest. Students from all the departments unite and contribute to make it a success. Department fests are also really cool. I loved every event of my department fest. We do have a satisfactory cafeteria in the college campus and there are many eat joints around college. And the college is situated near metro station and bus stand so it’s accessible. Overall you’ll have a good experience in this college. Students from our college do find good placement opportunities. I won’t say it’s the best college in Delhi University but it’s quite good. And I would recommend it for sure.

My college life

My collage name is Rajdhani college. It is located on the Ring Road so reaching here isn't a problem. The Rajouri Metro station is nearby but walking up the whole distance can take some time. There are many buses plying on the Ring Road which is convenient for students all over the city. The college seems a bit old and the infrastructure here is not great. It must have been good when it must have been built but there seems to be no care taken after that. The college grounds are nice and also well used. The college is apparently 3rd best in sports activities, claimed by some of the students. Some parts of the college do have ACs. Teachers from the Arts faculty are good. History and Hindi faculties are well known. The college does have good experienced and qualified teachers but they aren't very keen to teach, they are helpful if you need them. You have to show interest in your subject and the teacher will be willing to help. Crowd is definitely nothing compared to the North Campus. The crowd is not inclined towards studying nor doing something constructive. Some of the students are coming here from far off places. Fights are very common here and during elections it is all in a day’s work. The crowd here can’t be called lively but it is more orthodox and not touched much by the Delhi’s fashion. Canteen is nothing great although there is a lot of space to sit. The seats here have been given wooden look and it doesn't take a carpenter to find that they aren't. You shouldn't expect much variety here, the menu offers just 5 items. Most of the students have packed food like chips. Chole Bhature is one of the few edible dishes here. There is a fest also organised by college.
