Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four- year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in pharmacy education course offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Admission Process

The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtain a non-zero score in CET.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
  • The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtain the non-zero score in CET.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates –

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
  • Should obtain the non-zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and obtain the non-zero score in CET. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining the non-zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in CET.

(B) Direct Second Year B Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the act
