    Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.


    Eligibility Criteria

    • Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification declared equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to B.Ed. program. Any candidate with 49.9% or fewer marks is not eligible.
    • The reservation for SC/ST/OBC category candidates and other categories is as per the rules of the Central Government or State Government. There is a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/ST/OBC category candidates. Candidates with 44.9% marks or less are not eligible.

    The Students are selected for admission on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
