24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Mental Health Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- Only female candidates are eligible
- BSc nursing degree from this university or any other university.
- Registration with the Tamil Nadu State Nursing Council.
- BSc nursing graduates and post-basic nursing graduates should have a year of experience in a hospital or in a college of nursing or in a school of nursing, or in a community health program after the declaration of the results.
- Minimum of one year of experience before or after post-basic BSc nursing.
- The student shall be medically fit. The student has to submit a recent medical fitness certificate from a recognized physician at the time of admission.
- Students shall be admitted once a year.
