The college infrastructure is quite impressive.it has advanced material for research.the location of the college is quite peaceful as it is located on hills.the view from the college the atmosphere that are quite amazing. Faculties in classroom are quite amazing it has all necessary equipments. Hostels are quite hygienic the connection of wifi for the students are well. Students who are interested in sports the college give well support as it has several clubs for sports and other activities too. The event in the college take place in regular interval of time.

The college have its well academic reputation.the college has 7 btech branches And the college organises regular seminar,hackathons and workshop.the faculty of the college are quite supportive as they give good advice to students for their projects and college also support the startup culture by funding,mentoring and many more.

The placement records of iit mandi is quite impressive as it calls many companies for placement in the college.the placement rate varies between 70 to 80 percent.now a days company are focusing on skills more than the cgpa so the college has also started working on skills.most of the students in cse got placed by more than 20 lpa.

The placement have been very good in our college. In the session 2024-25 around 17.4 LPA was the highest offer that was made in our campus. The median salary stands somewhere around 5 LPA. The college's placement cell is very supportive and guides in everything.

The campus is quite green and well maintained. You will find dedicated blocks for different departments, decent amount of parking space too. It provides comfortable environment for students and provides necessary facilities to support your studies and college life. Classrooms are standard, clean and spacious enough also consists of projectors. Labs are decently equipped. The library is well stocked with updated books and computers are available to access digital resources.
Academics
The curriculum is standardized which covers the fundamentals well. The faculty is qualified and are supportive if you show initiative and some are passionate about what they teach and the study materials they provide are helpful. We have three internals per semester, along with projects and quizzes. There are various technical and non technical clubs.
Placements
College placement cell puts in efforts to bring in companies for campus recruitments, the average package offered is reasonable and few students who put in more efforts manage to get impressive offers, they conduct training sessions and helps you polish your skills for the actual interview.

It has good number of clubs and student chapters. There are technical ones if you are interested in coding or cultural clubs if you are into dance, music. There are even social clubs focused on community service. Various events are held through out the year such as hackathons, club events, workshops.

The teaching quality at NIE is really good, as teachers are highly experienced, and the course is highly recommended and regularly revised to meet current industry requirements. Teachers are very helpful and go out of their way whenever needed. They provide informative notes that are good enough to score well in exams

Almost 90 out of 125 students are placed by the end of the final year. The highest package is 29 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Around 85% of students get internships by the start of the 4th year. The various companies that come for the internship drive are Infosys, Samsung, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Bosch, and Havells. The role of a test engineer is a good for me to start earning.

I have no experience of teachers staff as I am a open student I only have to go college for giving exams . We are provided by books only no lectures and all but the staff is good they clear our all doubts and help us .

Placement is not there in our college specially for open student. But maybe for regular students 10-20 % placement will be there . Package should be 4-5 lakh per annum. Mostly placement is for those students who are toppers of the college.

Overall college infrastructure is average but is well maintained. There are lifts but only for the faculty. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors but there is always is always an issue with the seating in the classrooms. There are no proper classrooms for the final years students because the number of students is height but the classrooms are less.

The syllabus is outdated,the faculty are experienced but lack subject knowledge or teaching skills . Most of them just display ppt on the projector and keep scrolling not concerned weather student understand the concepts or not .

Overall the placements is pretty decent but there is always lot of miscommunication and unfairness in the placements. Once you are place in a company you are not allowed to sit in most of the other drives in future. They say some rules but most of the rules are not followed by them itself.

Since it is a decent size campus it is always clean but sports facilities are not available for the students. It is only during fests that they can play sports ,rest of the time there is a small court for table tennis . There is a badminton court and cricket ground but students are not allowed to play there during the college hours .
