The infrastructure of daulat ram college is obviously not as good as private colleges, but being a govt college its quite decent and pleasant. Although all classes do not have ACs The washrooms are hygienic

Im from the commerce department so personally im not very satisfied with the commerce faculty, some teachers are good and others are not so goodd. Although attendance isnt very strict but teachers hardly give marks for attendance
Placements
The placements are decent. The placement cell is very active and provides good opportunities, workshops etc, you just need to maintain a gpa of 8 and above and apply for almost all internships that u can get

The campus life is really fun and you can get a lot of exposure and opportunities

The college infrastructure is at par as there are scenic places and also more area to roam around, but one thing that bothers is, as college is located at the outskirts of city the monkeys are a trouble here. Classrooms are maintained well and labs are also good as per my view. The hostel is also a good experience and so far the food is said to be average.

The faculty are mostly P.hD doctorates in the field of their interests, they do teach and use examples of their experiences that provides us many valuable insights. The faculty also helps us to provide the assistance to crack the pre placement exam for any company.

The placement count presently is average and core companies that come to college for the drives are very less. Most of the higher packages are offered in IT and related branches and the average CTC offered is 4.5. The college supports and pushes students to get placed in early phase.
Campus Life
The campus life is good with good people around you. The extra curricular activities and co-curricular activities that are conducted to get a good exposure to what is happening inside the college. The students and staff all are participating and also encourage others to participate in such activities.

The college is good when considered for the local people, but there's plenty of fish in the sea. The college and academics are good. The placement count maybe average but it's increasing every year so it's reliable and exposure to placements is guided by the faculties so the students would know how things are done in a corporate work place.

Placements in the college are decent. Reputed companies like KPMG and EY visit the campus to recruit students. Consistently good grades across all semesters and right set of skills and confidence improve the chances of on campus placements.

Campus life at Khalsa is lively and enjoyable. Many societies are active through which students can make friends not only in college but in entire DU. Nescafe and the famous 'Jannat area' are popular hangout spots. The students are friendly, and the overall vibe is welcoming and positive.

The curriculum is fairly updated and includes recent developments, though some subjects could be more industry-oriented. Overall, what we study helps us build a strong foundation and makes us reasonably job-ready, especially with the additional projects, internships, and skill-based training offered by the college.

The placement quality at our college is good, with many reputed companies visiting every year. Around [90%] of students were placed last year. The highest package was around [₹50LPA], offered to a [course/branch, e.g., CSE student], while the average package is around [₹1012 LPA]. The placement process was smooth and well-organized, with the college providing full support through training sessions, mock interviews, and guidance, making it a pleasant experience overall.

our college campus is spacious, green, and well-maintained, with modern classrooms, labs, a large library, and sports facilities. The best part is the peaceful environment and good infrastructure, while the worst is that some areas, like parking or WiFi speed, could be improved. Students can engage in cultural fests, tech events, clubs, and sports activities, which makes campus life lively. The teachers are supportive and approachable, students are friendly, and the support staff is helpful. The location is safe and easily accessible, with proper security and medical facilities to handle emergencies. Overall, it’s a student-friendly campus with a positive vibe.

The college infrastructure is just average. There are classrooms and a library, but no Wi-Fi, labs, sports center, or hostel. Classrooms don’t have AC, only fans. Cleanliness is not great either ,the buildings were only painted recently, which makes them look okay from outside, but overall upkeep is poor.
Academics
I am studying Economics (Hons.) here. The course builds a good foundation for master’s programs and future studies, but it doesn’t really make you job-ready. Some teachers are great, but others aren’t that effective. A major issue is that students usually get lower internal marks compared to other colleges. Overall, it clears your basics in economics, but don’t expect strong career support from the college itself.
Placements
The placement quality of the college is pretty average. Most placements happen for B.Com and B.Com (Hons.) students, while Economics (Hons.) gets very limited opportunities — last year there were only 1–2 placements for Eco Hons, with an average package of around 3.25 LPA. For B.Com, the highest was about 5 LPA. Many companies that come are for roles in communication, call centers, or video editing. Every year one company with a 24 LPA package visits, but in reality, it opens a single post across the whole DU, usually filled by top IIT/IIM students as leftovers. Since the college is known for Journalism, that department gets better offers, including a 12 LPA company. Most other offers (like call center roles) are around 6 LPA. On the positive side, the placement process is smooth, the placement cell is supportive, and teachers also help with mock GDs and interviews.

It totally depends on person to person. For me, the experience has been good and I really enjoyed it. Most of the teachers in our department are good, though a few are not. The location is also convenient — close to the metro and generally safe.

Overall, SVC is a really good college.

The college buildings are great and give the DU vibe. I can't think of any flaws in that aspect. It has all the necessary infrastructure like computer labs, science labs, auditorium, seminar room etc.
Academics
The quality of academics at SVC is really great, especially in commerce courses. Professors are great, classes are rarely cancelled. Since NEP, we also have to study some new subjects which gives it a point in the updated curriculum aspect.
Placements
Placements in this college are good. The average, median and highest packages from this college are all really decent, especially considering that it is what we are getting at the UG level, so it's also a plus point.

I dont know much about placement but placement is not very high if you are thinking you will get a well to do job after graduation only few students are alloted pretty average jobs so i suggest not to put your hopes high about placement .

Campus life is fun but again it depends on how much you explore just roaming in college will not get you anywhere . Make new friends talk to everyone and make the most out of it by the way there is a swing in our college so you can enjoy that also

There are many societies which can student join. Plus many department also helds election for union so students of departments can participate. During fest time college is on high energy.

As a fresher I find the college infrastructure just fine, it’s well maintained and ventilated with proper washrooms and watercooler din every floor along with lifts. But if ACs could be installed in classrooms that would be highly appreciated along with good wifi facility in the campus as there are no signals in and around the campus. Also the gardens and parks need to be maintained by proper gardener’s to enhance their beauty….my experience is good but can be improved if college foes upstated changes.

Faculty is nice and well versed in there subjects. They genuinely help students with there doubts. Only thing that bothers me that quite a lot of times the classes get cancel . Otherwise faculty is very nice.

College placements for ramjas are quite decent as of what I have heard. They say that for BCom the placement is overall good with an average package of rupees 5-6 lakh per annum. Any student with good academics is welcomed to sit for the placements.

Campus is not bigger as much as you are thinking. I am science student here so laboratory are ok ok. If you will break something there you have to pay. Apparatus do not work properly there. There is 3 block, block A,B,C. You will get library facility here . library is good . Campus doesn't have wifi. Washrooms are ok ok.

Profs are good here. I am persuing B.Sc(physcis) here . I failed in jee main so i opted this course I was unable to pay b.tech fee. Some profs are excellent here. Most of the people here for govenrnment exam prepration here.
Placements
Majorly B.A , B.Com and B.Sc(except physics) students get placement. If you will work upon you then there is chance. Not everyone get placement. This year one student 27lpa from bsc(computer science). I have seen people gotten PPO here .They are from B.A(eco) and B.Com

The college shri ram College of commerce is Asia's one of the best college for commerce. So you can understand that it's is definitely great there is library with 3 floors. I am here studying bcom hons and as per my experience it is definitely worth it to study here. The teachers here are not only stuck to syllabus but also teaches us how to think and teach us beyond the syllabus and guides us about every necessary things

Well I believe in whole delhi University this college has highest average placement. I don't really know the data of how many students are placed but the highest package of this college is around and 35 lakhs and average is around 10 lakhs for bcom hons
