Academics
Academics are strong with knowledgeable and supportive faculty. Teachers explain concepts clearly and guide students well. Some areas can improve, but overall a very helpful learning environment. I enjoyed my academic Session.
Placements
Placements are good with many reputed companies visiting. Most students get opportunities, and training support is helpful. A few more core company tie-ups could make it even better. And teachers are also helped us when company come in our college.
The campus life is very good.

The college Classrooms and labs are very good. Labs have many equipment, and we have a library only for the chemical engineering course. Wi-Fi is always available. The hostel is good, but the mess is not so good. Medical facilities are very good. The college always organises some sports events.

Teachers are very helpful. They are highly qualified, like M.Tech from IITs. Their teaching is very good. Semester exams are not so tough at all, and if we study regularly, we will get good marks. Teachers also provide all the PDF notes and everything.
Placements
In the engineering course, almost 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Many companies like HPL, IOCL, Adani Group, Emami, etc., hire students from the chemical engineering course. 60-70% of students got internships in the above-mentioned companies.

1:Wi-Fi connectivity is good, the data rate is about 10 to 50 Mbps using wired LAN, good lab facility with A. C, excellent instruments, necessary safety measures, each classroom has good infrastructure, our college has centralized library with more than 2 Lacs books, journals etc. 2:hostel facility, food quality, tasty food and availability is well in both canteen and mess. Medical incharge is there, our college support sports, games. Many students participate and win prices.

Staffs are available from 8 to 6, if we have any doubt they will be there to stay in hostel and teach us. Teaching quality is excellent with well qualified staff with min 10 years experience, there are well knowledgeable in technical as well as industrial fields. 2: Yes the course is relevant.

In our college our department has 5 labs. Linux lab windows lab ibm cloud computing lab apple ios lab erp development center. There are Wi-Fi available. The classrooms are neat & clean. Library has a lab for working or reading books online and also has a bookbinding section.

Upto 80% of students placed in last year, nearly 617 students are placed. The lowest average salary is 3lpa and the highest average salary is 5lpa. Infosys, TCS, Zoho were top recruiters. Network administrator was the role offered. The lowest 3lpa the highest 5lpa. 40% of students get internship in 2nd and 3rd year.

Infrastructure is very good from outside. But when you get into it, classrooms are not properly maintained and floors are cracked everywhere. Main attraction for students is the campus of Haldia Institute of Technology which is big enough for a private college in our surroundings.
Academics
Teachers are experienced enough to manage, but not highly experienced or talented in solving problems. Till now, I haven't encountered any teacher skilled enough to handle boarding classes. Proper syllabus management is missing and syllabus completion does not take place.
Placements
Not many students get placed. But the average salary package offered is quite good enough to manage, as in a private college. The highest salary package offered depends on how well one masters a skill to get into a multinational company. If one has good skills, one can crack into any company.

the best thing about the campus is the canteen and the playground. they’re always busy. usually students engage in societies. a lot of societies to join cultural as well as non-cultural. students and teacher teachers are good. the crowd is mixed and the location is very safe. It can handle emergencies.the commutation is also very easy.

my experience has so far been very good, it’s only been a few weeks but it’s growing on me. commutation is very very easy. like 2 mins walk from metro and even the food stalls just outside college campus are very nice. attendance is not an issue in dyal singh so anybody who joins can easily pursue some other professional course or anything else if they wish too. teachers are also chill. only a few improvement areas could more active societies , the washrooms and lift facilities good college
