Sports and extracurricular facilities are also available in my college.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has a good infrastructure and facilities. It has a well-equipped gym, a department library, and well-equipped laboratories. The classrooms have large computer screens like smartclass. The hostel is one of the best hostels with good infrastructure compared to other engineering colleges

The teachers at this college are excellent. They are friendly and have the capability to teach. Some of the faculty members are ex-students from my department. The exams are difficult because they are administered by KTU. The average pass percentage is 70-80%.
Placements
A good number of students have been placed in different companies. The average starting salary is around 15 to 30k. Students from ECE got placed in Royal Enfield too. Eicher, Tata, Wipro, and Infosys are some of the companies that students got placed from here.

The placement of this university is decent but vary depending on the course. For MBA, BBA and M.com, companies like TCS, Wipro, HDFC and Accenture visits the campus with average packages around 3-4 LPA and highest crossing 30 LPA in rare cases.

Sparsh Himalaya university is relatively new compared to well-established universities in dehradun but the campus has been developing steadily. For research scholars, the facilities are decent, the library has access to relevant journals and books. The labs and research spaces are functional but not advanced.

The Ph.D in human resource management here focuses on areas like employee engagement, organizational behaviour, HR analytics and workplace culture. Faculty members are approachable and supportive but since the university is young, not all professors have a long-standing research background.

Since it's a Ph.D program, direct placements are not as commerce as in undergraduate or postgraduate courses. However, pursuing a Ph.D in HR here opens doors to teaching opportunities in colleges, research consultancy and roles in HR analytics or corporate training.

Faculty members in IT department are very helpful, supportive, and friendly. They offer their help in any way they can. The course curriculum is not bad for IT branch since we study most technologies.

Our class has 70 seats, all of which were filled first, but 2 students left to pursue other interests. Recruiting companies are SOTI, Safran, UST, Cognizant, etc. Some students also secured internship opportunities, while some students secured internships in their last semester without coming to college.

Still, compared to colleges in bigger cities, there are fewer clubs, societies, and exposure programs, so extra activities and personal growth opportunities feel limited for some students.

SKN Sinhgad College of Engineering Korti provides a peaceful campus, supportive teachers, and fair placements, making it a good option for average engineering students. At the same time, the college needs to improve industry connections, upgrade labs, and give more exposure if it wants students to compete strongly with top institutes.
