IIBS Bangalore offers a good blend of academics and industry exposure. Recently we finished our MOM program, in which we participated in various group Activities. ALP also known as Adventure Learning Program, it was a great blend of adventure and problem handling skills. In which we enjoyed and learned.
The college is going with the basics in every subjects. They are giving Practical problems to solve, example presentations and programs. The college also helps in Upgrading in our Hard skills as well as soft skills.
Since I am in this college, I researched about this college before coming to IIBS. The college's ROI is better in compared to other B- schools in Bangalore. With an average package of above 7.5 lakhs.
College is calm and spacious, offering a healthy learning atmosphere. The classrooms are neat with modern facilities, and the laboratories are well-equipped for hands-on training. Each branch has separate labs, which are maintained properly. The library is large and has both printed books and e-resources to help with research and assignments. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, with safe rooms and decent food arrangements. The canteen provides affordable meals, and the Wi-Fi connectivity in the campus helps students with online learning. Sports and cultural activities are also well supporte.
Teachers at Sri Vasavi are dedicated and always ready to support students in academics. They focus on practical learning along with theory, which helps students gain confidence. Many of them have higher qualifications and share their knowledge in a simple and clear way. They help in guiding projects, preparing for competitive exams, and improving technical skills. Faculty members also conduct workshops and seminars in collaboration with industry experts to expose students to current technologies. Regular feedback and interaction make learning easier, especially for those who find subjects tough.
Placements at the college are decent and improving steadily. IT and CSE students get more opportunities compared to core branches. The training department organizes regular classes in communication skills, aptitude, and technical tests, which prepares students for company drives. Recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra often visit, while a few students also get into higher package companies. The highest offers reach up to ₹10 LPA, while the average remains around ₹3.5 LPA.

Campus life is very good
Hansraj feels like that college where tradition and energy blend. The campus is overall good with full AC classrooms and the library is genuinely a safe haven when you need silence. The canteen Cheap, cheerful, and always buzzing.
Academics here don’t feel suffocating teachers know their stuff and are approachable if you put in effort. What actually makes learning richer are the societies, fests, and random intellectual debates that spark in corridors more than in classrooms.
Placements are dependable. If you’re in commerce or economics, you’ll see top firms walking in every year. Even for other courses, networking and societies open doors. Packages aren’t IIM-level, but for undergrad, they’re solid enough to kick-start a career.

Academics here are excellent, with highly qualified faculty, interactive teaching methods, well-structured curriculum, and a strong focus on practical learning. The supportive environment motivates students to achieve academic excellence.
The college provides good placement opportunities with reputed companies visiting the campus. The training sessions, internships, and guidance from the placement cell help students prepare well, though there’s still room for more recruiters.
Campus life is vibrant and engaging with cultural fests, student clubs, sports, and interactive activities that create a lively atmosphere. The friendly environment encourages bonding and learning, though adding more events would enhance the experience.
The college infrastructure is well-maintained, offering spacious classrooms, clean surroundings, and the necessary facilities to support academics. While there is room for further improvement, it provides a reliable and comfortable learning environment.
Academics are well-managed with dedicated teachers and clear course delivery. The curriculum supports overall learning, and students gain a solid foundation. However, more innovative approaches could further enhance the experience.
Placement opportunities are decent, with several companies visiting and offering roles to students. The process is organized and provides good exposure, though expanding the range of recruiters would make it even stronger.
Campus life is engaging with cultural events, clubs, and activities that keep students involved. The environment is friendly and enjoyable, though a few more recreational options could make it even more vibrant.
The campus has dedicated spaces for management students, including smart classrooms and conference rooms for presentations. Hostel and canteen facilities are decent, and the overall environment is conducive for learning as well as extracurricular activities.
The MBA department has experienced and supportive faculty members. Most professors are well-qualified, and many bring both academic knowledge and industry exposure. They emphasize case studies, group discussions, and practical assignments, which help bridge the gap between theory and practice.
The placement cell is active and organizes regular training sessions, aptitude classes, and mock interviews. Companies from sectors like banking, IT, FMCG, consultancy, and manufacturing visit the campus. The average placement record is good for regional standards, with reputed recruiters offering roles in sales, marketing, finance, and HR.
Students get computer lab facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a campus environment that supports both academics and extracurriculars. The campus also provides sports facilities, hostels, and a well-maintained cafeteria.
They focus on building strong fundamentals in management, business communication, and soft skills. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and use case studies, presentations, and interactive sessions to make classes engaging. Mentorship and personal guidance are also provided.
Placement opportunities are limited compared to MBA, but the college provides good internship support and exposure through industry visits, workshops, and guest lectures. Many students go for higher studies like MBA after completing BBA, and the foundation provided by BIT helps in competitive exams and further education.
BIT has a modern and vibrant campus that really matches the vibe of a professional B-school. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, audio-visual systems, and comfortable seating which makes learning interactive. The overall atmosphere feels more like a corporate training environment than a traditional college setup.
Many professors bring real-world insights from consulting, banking, and corporate backgrounds, which adds practical depth to classroom discussions. The teaching style is case-study driven and encourages debate, presentations, and problem-solving exercises.
One of the biggest strengths of BIT MBA is the placement and corporate exposure. The university has strong ties with companies across IT, consulting, BFSI, FMCG, and startups. Pre-placement talks, guest lectures, and industry workshops are frequent, so students get a clear picture of corporate expectations.
This college infrastructure is well but not sufficient other colleges provide many facilities like a gym, software purchase for students, etc. The college needs to improve in the field of facilities like all classrooms need AC because Kolkata summer is too hot. Colleges need to increase sports material, college can improve in culture, in fact, all fields of college are not satisfied.
Some faculty are too good some are average but most of the faculty members are not good in the sense of teaching, not a better understanding of the subject. Those types of teacher classrooms are empty, with only a few students because of attendance purposes. A few teachers are excellent but most of them are below average.
Placements are average in college, but we can see all over these states this college is better than others in the placement. The placement package is not as good as we want. The company hires students for as minimum salary but we deserve more.
NAS College has a historic campus with a blend of traditional and modern facilities. The classrooms are spacious, and the library is one of the highlights, with a wide collection of commerce, management, and competitive exam-related books.
The B.Com department has experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who focus strongly on conceptual clarity. Most teachers follow a traditional teaching style but also encourage discussions, assignments, and project work to keep students engaged
Since NAS is primarily an academic and research-focused college, direct placements are limited compared to private institutes. However, the college provides career guidance, seminars, and alumni support. Many B.Com students from NAS go on to pursue higher studies like M.Com, MBA, CA, or competitive exams.
The campus is large, with separate departments, hostels, and a good central library. The computer labs are functional and have the necessary facilities, but some lack the latest software and need upgrades. Wi-Fi is available but not very reliable.
Industry exposure is limited, and students don’t have many workshops or seminars with experts. Still, teachers do their best to help students feel comfortable with the course and provide extra notes and guidance when needed.
Opportunities are limited, and only a few companies visit the campus for recruitment. The average package offered is around 2.5 LPA, while the highest package rarely exceeds 5 LPA. Most placements are in small IT firms or local companies, so students aiming for higher packages should also apply off-campus.
Campus is student-friendly with enough facilities to cover academics, research, and extracurricular activities. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Each branch has its own specialized labs, where students perform experiments and projects. The library is digital-friendly, giving access to online journals and databases apart from physical books. The campus has a decent canteen with hygienic meals and a good hostel setup with proper maintenance. Sports facilities like cricket ground, volleyball court, and indoor games are available. Seminar halls and auditoriums are used for cultural fests, workshops, and guest lectures, making the environment lively.
Teachers in my College maintain a friendly teaching style. They take extra time to clear doubts and ensure that students are confident in their fundamentals. The faculty also motivates students to do mini-projects, publish papers, and participate in national-level competitions. Some teachers are very research-oriented and encourage innovative thinking in classrooms. Mentorship programs ensure that students receive guidance not just in academics but also in personal development. Guest sessions by industry experts are organized, keeping students in touch with modern technologies.
Placements are a strong point for the CSE and ECE branches. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte are regular recruiters, offering both internships and full-time roles. The training cell organizes coding contests, aptitude sessions, and communication workshops to prepare students for recruitment. Average salaries are around ₹4 LPA, and the highest packages have gone above ₹12 LPA in recent years. Core students also find opportunities in regional companies, though numbers are slightly fewer compared to IT-related fields.
MIET’s infrastructure is decent and helps with both academic and extracurricular growth. The computer labs are modern and well-equipped with the necessary software, which is a big plus for MCA students. Wi-Fi is stable across the campus.
The MCA course follows the AKTU curriculum, but MIET works to keep students up to date with industry needs. Some faculty members are very motivating and guide us in project work, coding contests, and seminars. They encourage participation in hackathons and workshops on topics like machine learning, cloud services etc.
Unlike many other institutes, MIET attracts not only BPO companies but also genuine IT firms that offer growth opportunities. Companies like Suntech Global, Algoworks, Webkul Software, QA Infotech, PolicyBazaar Tech, Birlasoft, and Sopra Steria regularly recruit from here.
Classrooms are airy, well-lit, and many of them are equipped with smart teaching tools. The labs are updated with modern equipment, allowing students from mechanical, civil, and electronics branches to gain hands-on practice. The library is well-stocked with books and online resources, making it a favorite place for academic preparation. Wi-Fi connectivity across campus helps with digital learning. Hostels are safe, with proper food and basic amenities for both boys and girls. The campus also has playgrounds and sports courts, encouraging students to stay active.
Faculty members here are student-friendly and approachable. They focus on not just completing the syllabus but making sure students truly understand concepts. Teachers use simple explanations and real-world examples to make tough subjects easier. They also provide additional support during projects, lab work, and preparation for exams. A few professors are research-oriented and motivate students to publish papers or take part in workshops. Faculty members also guide students for competitive exams like GATE and GRE. Regular mentoring sessions help students improve step by step.
Placement team provides students with proper training in aptitude, coding, and soft skills. Companies such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini frequently visit the campus. The average package ranges between ₹3–4.5 LPA, while the top students sometimes secure offers up to ₹8–12 LPA. Core students find opportunities in regional industries, though IT placements dominate. Internship programs are also encouraged, and many students convert internships into full-time roles.
Wi-Fi doesn't have proper network. Food is not good in hostels. They don't allow students to sit for exams when they have dues. In classrooms, they don't provide AC and proper air conditioning to students. All students are suffocating with the air conditioning.
No faculty takes responsibility for students. Teaching is good, all the faculty in our branch have PhDs, but they don’t provide clarity on doubts. They only tell to toppers. Fullers don’t have any explanation, and many students are suffering because of this.
The lowest package is 3 LPA and the highest is 7 LPA. Some companies hire at even higher packages. They all offer roles only on the software side. They don’t provide many core jobs, they mainly see software jobs like Wipro, Tata, Dell, Amazon, Flipkart, Keysight, Uber, Microsoft, and Google. Some companies are non-core.
Our hostels are the best. Each student has a wardrobe and everyday cleaning is done also wardens take care even when we are sick. We even have AC and non-AC rooms with different fees. Each room has four beds to share.
Most teachers in our college have more than 4 years of teaching experience and certification in certain skills. They teach all the powerful courses that are mostly used in companies. Semester exams are simple and also tricky but most students pass the exams.
Our college provides good placement training and sessions about how to get placements and teaches a few skills by experts. Our college offers a few courses like Gradious, ServiceNow, data analytics, etc. Placements faculty are more experienced and skilled
