I studied B.Com at this college. The course curriculum covers the basic concepts and is useful for building knowledge. I was bsc studying bsc in networking technology because I was intrested in it. The curriculum is not much updated. The quality of teaching is good but the curriculum is not that updated at least for my course. But for the courses like b.voc and bachelor's in AI and ML it is nice

The placement rate is about 60 percent in our collage. And if one really works hard he can get an average package of about 3 to 4 lpa in good companies like tcs , cognizant and Capgemini. The company generally offers package starting from 2 lakh upto 5 lakhs.

My collage campus very good. Although my collage campus was very small but the campus was very neat and clean. And I can be a bit biased as I made many memories in that collage. But being diplomatic if one expects that he will get a big campus and a nice canteen then they should kill those expectations. But the teachers and staff are so supportive.

I am studying computer science because I had a interest in web development. Quality depends upon the teacher, some are good whereas some are not understandable. Our syllabus is outdated and it needs to revised. Core sector is very good but coding culture in the campus is not upto the mark.

Placements for core sector is very good whereas it's average for Computer science and information technology branch though college is very supportive in terms of placement. Avg package is around 7lpa and highest on campus is around 16 lpa.

Doon university is a good reputed university in dehradun and its infrastructure, facilities and equipment would not disappoint you Although its not the best but it gets the work done , the classrooms are neat with smart boards , the library contains all the necessary things , you get an amazing football field with decent basketball court and there's only one cafeteria with good food Sadly you dont get wifi in the campus

I did my bcom hons from doon university as it was not too far from my place and the quality of teaching was great All the faculty and teacher were nice and supportive throughout You get to work on a lot of projects which was a great way to learn things in practical way The things that I learnt did made me realize what I need to work on to secure a job

if I talk about the placements, in recent years it decreased and not many students get placed through the university side, and not many good companies visited campus for few years. While the university do have a placement cell that helps the students by giving them internships opportunities, training, and career counselling so that they understand what awaits for them in the future and how they are going to deal with it. It did help them strengthen their skills and communications.

The placements are nice and students get what they expect based on their qualifications and achievements. The maximum package was 1 crore. If you have 9 plus cgpa, you tend to get good package and what you’re expecting.

Campus life is nice there are big roads and lot of greenery along with canteens everywhere, shops with essentials, juice shops to beat the heat. It is located on city outskirts next to railway station so transport is easy.
