All the lecturers are good at teaching and explaining the concepts. Faculty try very hard to make us understand the concepts and the syllabus is also related to the topics that are required to survive in the industry.

Approximately 70% of our MBA students are placed during campus recruitment. The topmost package last year was around 22 LPA, whereas the minimum package was around 3 LPA. Infosys, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra are some of the top recruiters who visit our campus.

About 90% of the students are placed, but the maximum offer that comes in is about 12 LPA, while the average offer is about 3.5 LPA. Cipla, Biocon, and Sun Pharma recruit on campus. Although placements are on a regular basis, the majority of the offers are at the entry level with decent salaries.
2. The college has an excellent infrastructure which comprises of each lab for respective departments and medical room for girls a 2-floor library. An indoor auditorium is also there, and also there are 2 hostels for both boys and girls separately. A mess is also available for everyone.

The Infrastructure is satisfactory, but could benefit from upgrades. Classroom are equipped with advanced projectors, and the campus wi-fi works decently most of the time. Hostel facilities are available but mostly preferred by outstation students only.
The Faculty is the strongest point of the MBA program here. They focus on practical exposure alongside theory, especially in subjects like marketing, organizational behaviour, and business law. They encourage students for external efforts.
Dewan College provides moderate placement support for MBA students. While the placement cell is functional, the on-campus recruitment is limited to a few local firms and mid-scale companies. Students with strong communication and networking skills usually manage to secure decent opportunities.
NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
Sometimes it's hectic, but mostly it's easy to cope up with. Yes, some core branches have busy schedules, somehow they have to manage it. Other than that, most of the department have more or less same pressure.
For my branch, i.e Metallurgy Department have good placement percentage, circuital branches also have good placement. Recently some branches having less placement percentage but, with time, I think it'll be better.
Some good spots are there in the campus to roam around.
