average campus life- the college is situated in middle of a market in karol bagh so expectaion of a campus life is next to impossible. it is a small campus or a building rather with no ground so no scope for sports

They need a lot of improvement. They gave me back problems over time because they were not ergonomic. The classrooms need refurbishment. Rooms above the kitchen make it harder to breathe due to the smells. Seminar rooms are good and the auditorium is okay. Overall building needs refurbishment.

The modules that were shared across other B.com programs were well taught. Very structured and organized. However, the topics that were specific to our course were super confusing. People passed because of their hard not because of the institution.work
Placements
I had opted out for placements but the placements were literally biased. People were getting 20-30k jobs. Only a handful of people got jobs from my course. there was always preference given to BBM students and then computer, foreign trade, and then the rest. For other courses like psychology, there was nothing available.

Loving literature I thought of pursuing BA in English. The teaching in the university is amazing with knowledgeful teachers. The curriculum is updated with recent developments in English studies and making us ready for jobs in writing teaching and communication.

The placements are good in number but for certain courses like management and engineering. However, the placements are average for a BA student, but the college works on the overall enhancement of the student.

The university has a mix of students experienced teachers and helpful staff. It is convenient but could do better with maintenance and safety measures. Overall, it is an amazing place to learn and grow.

Wi-Fi facility was not available until 2019 here. and now it may be available. Classrooms are huge and well-equipped. The quality of the food served in the hostel is really good. You will get 3 meals a day and tea, along with snacks daily in the evening. Sports are available. The football ground is not available, but you can play table tennis, badminton. volleyball and basketball.

Faculty members here are amazing and very helpful. They all have good knowledge of industry and course that what should be taught and in which way students will be able to leam quickly. Most of the students who opted for placements got placed. Companies like Oberoi, Hyatt, Accor, IHG, etc., visited our campus, and students not only got placed in hotels but also got placed in food retail and non-food retail. All the students did their internship in reputed properties available within the country.

The best feature of our dr Ambedkar Institute of Hotel management is it is very good and totally Wi-Fi enabled. But the canteen provided in this is not so good and have limited menu.

This course is a good option in case you are planning to build up a career in hospitality industry. Completing this course you not only have a single option of working in a hotel, but other career options such as travel companies, airline catering, cruise, food retail, non food retail, etc. Are open. I case you wish to go for further studies, programmes such as M.Sc. MBA, etc. May be good options.

Wifi is supported in all the college blocks and hostels but not high speed. Living spaces are clean and there is no serving of non vegetarian food in college.

Academics of my course is good but the quality of teaching is not great. There is a lot of self study to do and curriculum is only average because it doesn't have recent developments. The HOD of my department is intelligent but coming to student issues he is not that good.

Our university have lovely placements. All the campuses students come to main campus for big companies. Almost everyone gets a job at our university. Core jobs percentage is less compared to IT jobs. Ratio of core to IT jobs is 1:3. Average salary for core companies is 8 to 12 lakhs per annum.
