College Infrastructure
The library spans two floors and houses a wide range of books on core CSE subjects like DBMS, Compiler Design, and Networking, along with other literature books. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels and college classrooms, but it’s often unreliable. The quality of the hostels varies; some of the non-AC hostels are quite cramped, and I wouldn’t recommend them. If budget allows, the AC hostels are a better option, though they are expensive. The food, however, is not great and I wouldn’t recommend it either.
Academics
The majority of the faculty members here hold Ph.D. or Master's degrees. However, teaching effectiveness isn't solely determined by qualifications. While some teachers genuinely strive to provide quality education, others can make things difficult by assigning excessive work or being stingy with grades. Occasionally, there are instances of personal bias. Fortunately, these cases are rare, and I have encountered several supportive teachers who have been very helpful. Our curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry standards, focusing primarily on DBMS, Operating Systems, and Networking, much like other colleges. The semester exams are relatively straightforward, and most students can achieve good grades by studying just a few days beforehand. Overall, obtaining good grades here is easier compared to many private colleges.
Placements
Due to the ongoing recession, securing placements has become more challenging. However, our college has been proactive in bringing in a variety of companies, including startups and large recruiters like Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. So far, around 200 out of 4000 students have secured internships. The highest package offered is 33 LPA by PayPal, while the lowest is 4 LPA by Accenture. The average package ranges from 8 to 10 LPA, with startups like Kalvium and Mindsprint offering competitive opportunities.

College Infrastructure
The classrooms and labs are well-organized and equipped with reliable Wi-Fi, CCTV, smart boards, and projectors. Our college boasts a large central library spanning four floors, offering a wide range of books that can be checked out. There are multiple food courts and canteens on campus, providing a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. The college also hosts sports events and provides all necessary facilities. Although I don’t reside in the hostel, my friends who do say that the rooms are comfortable and the food is good.
Academics
The faculty members here are highly qualified, and the quality of teaching is excellent. In the second year and beyond, the subjects become more professional, while the first year mainly covers material from 11th and 12th grades. Each academic year includes two semester exams and three class tests per semester. These class tests are valuable for preparing for the main exams and maintaining good internal marks. The knowledge gained from classroom teaching is usually sufficient to achieve a good grade, as the exams are moderately challenging. Only about three or four students typically fail.
Placements
In 2024, the highest package offered was 52 LPA, with the average package standing at 7.5 LPA. To be eligible for campus placements, students need to maintain a CGPA of 8 or higher. Over 835 companies visited for campus recruitment, including major firms like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, and Samsung. The college has a strong track record for job placements.

Our college has a well equipped and Modern seminar room, fully surrounded by the nature, living spaces is preety clean and also 24 hours water is provided. Overall infrastructure is good and campus environment is suitable for students. Huge computer labs which are limited for taking online exams and Presentation.

About academics, the subject knowledge is really good, and you can contact them at any time during college hours. The learning and curriculum followed is great. some students feel that improvements in teaching methods and industry connections could enhance their educational experience.

Most of our students get placed of most of the departments, In this matter, our college has bit advantage compared to other institutions. Our professors also have good connections, which will be very beneficial in this matter. Summer internships are done in various cities.

placements were also really better.around 400students were placed this academic year.and the highest salary is of 7 lpa,which is highest of all time in our college.yes they were supportive the placement process not so easy for us.It is changing.

The infrastructure of our college is the best. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The library is huge and there so many books to read. More than 15 publications of paper are available in the library. Wi-Fi facility is good. The hostel facility available for both boys and girls is good. Food served to the students is healthy. Medical facilities are available. The campus is huge. Our college provides a cricket ground, badminton ground and indoor games
Academics
Teachers are good. Most of the teachers who come are visiting faculty, so sometimes you will be like wow and sometimes you will fall asleep in the classes. You need to work more yourself. The curriculum is relevant but again you have to work on your own. You have to take initiatives on your own and just utilise whatever resources you have to enhance your skills.
Placements
In our course, there were around 50 seats. It was quite hard for me to crack 3 rounds and get into IIMC. Due to corona, we did not receive a good placement drive, but there were certain media houses, where some of us got placed. Even after final results, our college is still ensuring placements for students. If you are an IIMC student, then you can have the best experience in nearby JNU, just a gate away. IIMC is the mecca of journalism, and every possible media exposure is provided to students along with destination visits.
Campus Life
English Journalism is one of the flagship course of IIMC and here you can have wide-ranging contacts in the media as well as various other fields. Exposure is there but eventually, it will be your capability that will take you forward.

But the recent placements are not good compared to the previous placement. But average students will get an internship after completion of the first year. few finance companies visit our campus, and only a few operations, data analysis, and human resource companies visit.

Students are quite active and they take part time. They also have labs and workshops with the latest equipment for practical training in fields like engineering and vocational skills.

They assist you politely, whether you need it in the class or after the class. They have completed full syllabus at all and unable to clear their topics perfectly. Semester exams are difficult, but students can manage to pass 9 CGPA easily. And it provides an internship in the third year. Which is completely useful for students.

Placements are really good. The highest number of students were placed in engineering sectors, management and pharma sectors. Considering the core sector average about 6 LPA and the highest being 12 LPA. A significant percentage of students secure job offers during campus placements, with many receiving multiple offers. the infrastructure of my college is just amazing. Its very good and well maintained. We have everything at the campus. The central library was the best place for me as it allows me to read many books and gained knowledge out of it. Our librarian used to ask me to suggest any good which he can issue. The living spaces are so neat and clean. I do not know much about hostels as I studied from my home. The classrooms are equipped with projector, smart boards and even our batch students collected money and bought an AC and donated to the department.

I have done my BA Afzal Ul Ulama in Arabic. My professors were so good and kind hearted. They are very good at teaching and are very supportive. It is because of them I am completing my higher studies, I feel greatful of having them in my life. The curriculum was updated and yes it includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes the course made me job-ready and enhance my knowledge.

well, speaking of placements, we did not have such things. The placements cell is not working. Otherwise, from other areas it is the best college. Although it does not have good placements and internships facilities, our departments helped us in every field to choose a good career path.

Faculty members are guite good and their teaching skill is so impressive, and exam pattern was for one subject is mst-1 with 15 marks and mst-2 also with 15 marks and then end sem with 50 marks and class performance was 10 marks at last 10 marks for attendance.

Placement stats are quite decent here, as overall 80% of students get placed every year, as seen from previous statistics, with the highest at 40+ Lacs, averaging at 11 Lacs, and the lowest at 5-6 Lacs. Teachers are helpful and have very in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. It is very relevant. Semester exams are difficult, and the competition is also very high. For the first year, everyone gets to study the same subjects, but from the next year on, subjects change.

Placements are good with approximately 85% of the students getting placed. Google, Microsoft, and Amazon like big companies come to recruit in the placements drive. There is PS provided which is unpaid. After second year, PS is provided to all the students which is very beneficial.
