The views we get from our college are definitely worth to watch as it is situated near mountains which looks more beautiful with clouds in rainy season. Our college has a medium sized Library. Also their is facility of ambulance in case of any emergency... It is safe.. . But last year during the riots the condition was very serious and college was closed for 2 months...

The quality of placements at my college has been impressive. Around 85% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was INR 58 approx(as per I remember)to a Computer Science student. The average salary offered was around INR 6 LPA. The placement process was smooth and well-organized, with college support throughout, making the experience positive and stress-free.

All the faculty members are helpful and most of them are permanent professors and some are associate professors. Professors have a friendly nature. Semester exams are held on the DU calendar, which is for all DU colleges. Semester exams are at an average level and easily passed.

After 4 th sem, students can sit for placements. Companies offering placements are infosys etc. One of the companies is ZS which selected 8 students. The highest package is 10 lakh and the average is 6 Lacs, almost 20 percent students in the class get placed.

Most of the students don't sit for placements. Only the B.Com. (Hons.) and Econ. students sit for the placements. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest must be somewhere around 4 LPA, and the mean is 5 LPA. The big 4 visit our campus since its on the north campus, but they pick mostly from better colleges like SRCCC. As for internships, there aren't any opportunities.

We have good labs. They have all the machines. The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, mess, classrooms, and campus. Classrooms are well-maintained and air-conditioned. We have a lecture hall where problem-solving classes are held. The mess provides healthy food. The hostel rooms are good.

Professors are highly trained. Good at their teaching but some professors from other branches are biased toward first-year students. The semester exams are average. If you study, you will pass; if you do not, you will not, but if you caught cheating, they will give harsh punishment, like short semester of attendance.
Placements
The placement cell at BIT is also proactive and dedicated for ensuring that each of the students get the best placement as possible. Also, companies from diverse backgrounds like teaching, finance, etc. Come so students have good opportunities. Therefore, good companies do come but remember that students are expected to work hard and deliver.

It is on an average level right now, but year by year it is improving. When I joined the average placements offered and package offered were less, but now it's increasing. Some good companies are also coming.
