I studied in SDM college of engineering,Dharwad. The college is a renowned, autonomous engineering college in the district. The infrastructure and environment of the college is optimistic and checks all necessary requirements as it is provided with a fine architecture for each department,hostel and a decent canteen, cafeteria,parking lot. Required facilities such as laboratories, workshops are provided with all equipments needed and cleaned on regular basis ensuring the hygiene. The faculty is professional and immensely supportive. Various fests and extra curricular activities are held from time to time which acquaints personal interests and talents of students.

I'm studying in mechanical branch because this branch is one of the top recommended branch where we get good core companies to work and experience a real life projects and coming to teaching prospect our professor are very calm and explains detailed theory and practical class are the best thing where we learnt most of things but curricular is not updated version so we didn't experienced the present real life development but our professor teached us extra things where it helped for our job.

Yes coming to the placement because of our placement officer many companies has visited our college and many students has got placed in good company and with better package and for mechanical branch many core companies has visited compare to last year and I got placed in Wipro and the highest package is 24 lakh from wallmart where 03 students has placed from Computer science branch and the success ratio of our batch who got placed is 92 % and because of our placement officer almost everyone has placed in a good company

Campus Life is one the ever memorable thing where every student has experienced and my college campus is very huge and ground is very big and cricket pratice net ,stage at the corner where many of the students practices dance and our college located 5 km away from the Dharwad but beside our college hospital and police training centre was located so it's very safe

Our teachers are well-qualified. They have completed their master's degrees. They have been educated at IITs. They are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant to upcoming job life, where we learn about computer applications, programming languages, databases, and many more, which will help us with logical thinking for projects and skill development.

The infrastructure of this college intrigued me when I applied; compared to other colleges, it is rather valuable and of a high caliber. The infrastructure of other universities is outdated, yet IPS is incredibly vibrant and well-kept. This draws students in with its attractiveness, thus I'm in love with this college's infrastructure.
Academics
Speaking of academics, I truly enjoy the college's curriculum and study hours. The faculty at this college is incredibly kind and encouraging, encouraging each student to give it their utmost in every aspect of their lives. Even after I graduate from college, the teachers always answer all of my questions. In terms of academics, this is a massive yes.
Placements
Regarding placements, practically every student is put at this college, and as far as I'm aware, they're fairly decent. The placement cell provides excellent help, and major corporations such as Asian Paints are involved in the placement process. All students are assigned to large corporations. Prominent corporations such as Tesla have also employed IPS. In summary, the college offers excellent placements.
Campus Life
The college life is wonderful and fantastic. There are also a lot of different departments and colleges in IPS Academy campus, the campus is also quite big and students can explore a lot of places. Also, events and annual festivals are also organized by the college due to which many students participate in various activities and also learn management. Universities also only ask about organizational and communication skills. I enjoy the campus life of my college and am proud to be part of the ibmr IPS Academy family.

The infrastructure of our college is good neither small nor big. It is an average building with many facilities and equipment. Separate classrooms for all and other departments. Separate cabins and office for all professors. Specific and separate laboratories for all departments. Have Seminar halls with smart boards and computer lab. They are all in use and well maintained. There are Sports facilities and also have library to access all necessary needs for academics. There is hostel facilities for girls and boys and also have free Wi-Fi. There is also space for parking in front of the building. Hostel Mess have average food and hygiene and cleanliness is well maintained in both hostel and college building.

We studied the course about Agricultural Engineering. We have three departments :- 1. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering 2. Soil and Water Engineering 3. Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering Professors are well knowledgeable from all departments. Our curriculum is updated and all departments are conducted many workshop to help farmers to reach their goals as we studied about the technical terms for agriculture like food processing, farm equipment and about soil and irrigation system. Job opportunities !! not sure about it. There are some opportunities for line of professor, technical assistant etc.
Placements
There are no placement in our university. If there is any placement it will come after few years or maybe not. The placement of students may be hardly 7 to 8 students. Salary package is less than the average what anybody expecting.
Campus Life
Campus of our university is so big as compared to all universities of our city. It has long distance road with greenery, farms, lands, protected cultivations, gardens, different buildings for affiliated work. Have sports complex, ground, etc. Support between students and teachers are well and balanced. It is not so far from the city but accessible to market and all. This campus is just at highway and it is safe and can be handled during any emergencies.

Yes DAMS has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which are basically needed. The classrooms are big and have only facility of fans .And there is a big computer lab with AC rooms and there is a library where you will find your books. And wifi facility is only available for staff officials. And there is a small cafeteria with the hygeine food.
Academics
I am persuing BBA from DAMS .Teachers are very arrogant and not supportive and some are good.They do not show good behaviour.They lack knowledge also and if you ask any questions they will arrogantaly make fun of you.
Placements
Companies coming here are mostly for sales job and with very poor package. Maximum salary package is 3lpa and minimum 1.5lpa Average package is 1.5 lpa. If you want good package and experience then go for some other colleges.

My campus life is very poor as I have not attended the classes.their is ground and we r not allowed to go inthe ground .and u cannot use cell phones on the campus grounds . It's not a college it's basically a school .

Not very good according to me some teachers are very good and also care about students but others are not what I had expected. apart from that course curriculum which is being followed is a little argumental.

This is the main concern of every student here because the information passed to us by the counselor does not match what going on inside very few good and named companies are coming to the campus apart from that average package has decreased and in internships also nil stipends companies are coming.

Classic and spacious infrastructure,well equipped classrooms and labs, moderately equipped gym, swimming pool, we do have wifi facilities, and they are used well and are being maintained, even though we've been thought the traditional education system, created by Guru Rabindranath Tagore, a lot of the times we're encouraged to study outside the classrooms, the ambience of the whole campus is calming, this place seems like the calm in caos, hygiene is maintained, and the people around are very much aware and they know how to keep it clean, even animals are being loved and are been taken care of, this university is a place for people who like to stay out of a chaotic croud, and wants to live a near traditional life with nature , bicycle, animals, folk dance music, and beautiful skies

I'm studying design, quality of teaching is moderate, and we're usually flooded with work load, teachers know us personally and work for our over all development Yes the curriculum is updated , and the study makes us job ready and it is very technical course and has a main focus

Not very good, but they are working on it, also the students who study from here are ready enough to find a job themselves, most of them open their own business, last year quite a few students got selected, as it is a very traditional university, so placement cells are not upgraded

Overall my experience is good they have provided me hostel in cost of one thousand per year and for mess they charge 12-15 thousand per year and the food quality and taste also good. They jave labs but faculty does not teach in that labs, theu need to improve practical classes gor the students and they don't have hospital inside the campus for emergencies and they don't have private transport facility also, but the location is safe and the college is in main city. The academics are good but there are a lot of sections but teachers are very less so I would say the its not good but they can be much better there were less students in this college so that each teacher can focus on every student.

My overall experience in the university is not so good. the university lacks important infrastructures and lacks proper managements. Classrooms, library, are there but the spaces are very small and congested. Food is hygienic, and somehow the living spaces are okey.

The teaching quality of the teachers are okey. They are from the professional level, so they know how to teach and make students understand about then specific topics and the subjects. I am not aware whether the curriculum is updated or not, but yes studying here wakes us ready for the job in our future.

I think the college offers placement opportunities for the final students. There are different private and public companies and institutions that comes to the college to offer job opportunities for the students. The recruitment process is easy, and the college is very supportive. The average salary offered by the companies ranges from 20k to 30k.
