Ravenshaw has a reputation for its quality of teaching in the state of odisha, as I studied Masters of Zoology in RU I totally agree with the statement,and the reason for this quality of teaching is it's well qualified and well trained teachers.

My time at VIT Chennai has been quite satisfactory in terms of the infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are well equipped, there is a lot of labs for research purposes and also multiple food outlets providing a variety of option.

Placements is one of the biggest plus points of VIT Chennai. A friend of mine, got placed at 50LPA and he too belongs to CSE dept. Theres a special PAT cell who help you with the process and hence maintain a 100% placement record.

HBTU Kanpur is a good college in terms of infrastructure. The college infrastructure is old but is maintained in a good condition. High speed wifi is available in the whole campus. Classrooms have smartboards but that are used very rarely.

I am studying M.Tech in Paint Technology, because according to me and market trends it can have a great future. Faculties and professors in M.Tech are nice and supportive. They help in the implementation of project and understanding of the concepts.

The quality of placements, particularly in M.Tech Paint Technology is good. According to college statistics 2023, 85% students get a placement. Average placement was around 9 lakh per annum and the highest has been of 36 lakhs per annum.

College infrastructure is average. All facilities are provided and maintenance is average. Labs have only necessary equipment for experiments of the curriculum. Wifi is supported in all the college blocks and hostels but not high speed. Living spaces are clean and there is no serving of non vegetarian food in college.

Academics of my course is good but the quality of teaching is not great. There is a lot of self study to do and curriculum is only average because it doesn't have recent developments. The HOD of my department is intelligent but coming to student issues he is not that good.
Placements
Our university have lovely placements. All the campuses students come to main campus for big companies. Almost everyone gets a job at our university. Core jobs percentage is less compared to IT jobs. Ratio of core to IT jobs is 1:3. Average salary for core companies is 8 to 12 lakhs per annum.
