Ramjas College was and is one of the most prestigious institutions in India. Inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, the college posseses an excellent auditorium where lectures are organized. The Library possesses a large catalog and is very peaceful. The Sports facilities are average not much can be said about them. Free Wi-Fi is present in the entire campus. The Campus is very green and clean. One drawback is that there aren't ACs in the classrooms. Overall the infrastructure is excellent.

I'm a student of English Honours in the College. My decision to join the college is the culmination of the literary quest I embarked upon when I was in 6th standard. I did take science in 11th but my heart lied in literature. The Course offered in Ramjas is one of the best in English literature throughout the country though it still has it's faults i e. more because of the establishment than the faculty. New additions must be made in the syllabus. No placements after graduation in college.
Placements
The placements in the college are mostly for the science and commerce students. No placement opportunities for the liberal arts . Even then less than 50% students are placed due to less vacancies. Highest package is around 10 lakhs and it mostly goes to Physics students. Average salary offered is around 3-4 lakhs. My statement is based on the experiences of my senior.
Campus Life
The Campus is green and clean. There's is no issue of attendance and a student can engage in any activity he/she wished to due to the presence of large number of societies. The societies are the heart of the college. One downside is the excessive politicisation of the campus. The college is conveniently located near the metro station Vishvavidyala. It is very safe and can easily handle emergencies.

college infrastructure is the best you can see among all other colleges. well lighted classrooms. each class has not more than 60 students. projector boards with writable on boards for convenience. ~95% classrooms are decent enough except some in old institutional blocks. Library is best among all its competitive colleges.

academics depends on how you are able to extract of it. The materials are uploaded by faculties on official sites. quizzes are online or offline depends on faulty. there are 1 or 2 assignments every subject.

6000+ job offers (mainly in IT sectors). CSE, IT, ECE and EEE are favored mistly in every aspect. 700 job offers were more than 5+Lpa whereas 500 were above 10+Lpa. 100% placements for CSE, IT and EEE students. 90% placement for mechanical.

campus life is very restricted. you need to get leaves approved every time you go home. cannot go out of hostel blocks without prior permissions. campus life for girls is the worst. but it's far much safer compared to other competitive priavte engineering colleges.

The quality of placement is quite good. Every year around 70% to 75% students get placement . The college held a few activities like workshop, seminars before the placement period . Overall as a student of Electrical department , I can tell that every year the highest percent of placed students are from CSE department . But here all the branches are good enough. The average salary package is around 15K to 25K . Our college is so supportive in the case of placement.

The campus life is really great. There are some clubs like cultural, sports,technical etc. There are two playground for all type of sports activities. The campus is clean and maintained . But only one problem is that there is no hostel facility available . The location is so good , because , within 15 minutes there is Garia metro station, and within 5 minutes there is Sonarpur railway station, Bus service is available.

AIB ( amity institute of biotechnology) is really good and disciplined .The faculty of biotech department is really good. They tell us about all the latest thing going on in our field and infact companies also visit us to tell us about latest lab techniques. There are also behavior and communication skills workshop to develop our personality. There are Study Abroad Programmes also.

Placements are good but for better chances, we have to go to Amity, Noida. I think the placement rate is around 40%-50%. Rest of the people go for higher education and government sector jobs. Placement is all online organised and pretty good to handle and we get to know about who is coming and the eligibility criteria.

The campus life is good. You can enjoy as much as you wany inside the campus but once you go out of the campus in middle of the day you cant comeback inside due to security reasons which is good. The college organizes DJ night every month and also different workshops and functions to entertain the hostellers. The campus have very coperative teachers and staff and infact most of the faculty live in hostel which is good for hostellers . The location is safe and have medical facilities also.

The quality of teaching is at par in quality with some top colleges of the city and generally I'm satisfied with the quality of education. The curriculum has gone through a large change in recent times. We are the first batch of new syllabus. The catastrophic nature of old syllabus has gone through a big change. Now our syllabus pattern updated.

Quality of placement is quite unpredictable and changes with the requirements in the market. So it is quite risky to comment about quality of placement. 60-70 percentage of students got placements per year. The average package is about 6-7 lacks per year, CSE got the most placement. Yes the college was supportive but I won't say the process easy it was quite challenging.

Yes you can enjoy the college life in a quiet satisfied manner. Yes there is no big malls around but if you travel by train you can go to many recreational place. There is no hostel but Housing accommodation facility. Hungerz is the go to place for students for recreation.

The best thing about the college is it offers dual specialization unlike many other colleges which provide only single specialization. Almost 45% of the batch gets placed in Marketing role. Average salary was 10.6 LPA . The placement process was easy and pleasant for our seniors and the college has been very supportive too. The college has all the facilities that a good MBA college requires. The best thing about FORE is its diversity. The college for batch 2019-2021 has almost 50% of the batch as freshers and gender ratio is 1:1 which no other top MBA college is able to achieve. The worst thing about college is lack of sporting activities due to small campus. The college is located in a very good and safe area with greenery around it. Also Hauz Khas is its nearest metro station. A police station is there 200m away.

It is my another home, one can learn life other than subject in our college. Best on all things. Students ate more friends and our seniors treat as their own siblings.
