The best thing about mega NIT Jamshedpur is it's mega hostel and mega mess. It consists 7th floor with lift and single room with balcony. When it's come to academic infrastructure this college lacks as the buildings are very old. Library has a wifi connection which works pretty well. Room has LAN connection which is a damn saviour. Computer centre is really impressive. Laboratories and classrooms need to be renovated. Overall, it's pretty good

Being an institute of national importance, the professors here are really well trained and cooperative as well. Quality of teaching is same as that of some other NIT's. The college really appreciates extra curricular activities that can help in placements.

NIT Jamshedpur is well known for its placement statistics. This year highest package goes to 43 lakhs by samsung to two computer science engineering students. From all the north indian NIT's, it is best when it comes to placement. Almost all students got placed this year from all branches. Average salary is also not that bad. Campus Life is best here, there are various clubs to provide exposure to students to inbuilt the skills . Culfest which is the biggest cultural fest in north India is organised, various students from different colleges come to participate in this fest. Various clubs are there for dance, dramatics, art, singing. Besides this various technical clubs are also there to enrich your technical knowledge.

The college is not having centralised Ac. The recently built ground is just beautiful. Its best in the whole of university. The lawns are well maintained.

I am enrolled in Bcom (H). The faculty is very experienced and very helpful. Attending classes is not compulsory which sometimes lead to short attendance. The teachers are having a good command over their subjects and many have self written books to boast themselves. The curriculum is not really updated but the teachers try to make the curriculum job ready.

The placement cell of the college has been working very hard for the students to bring the best job and Internship Opportunities for the students. Companies like DE Shaw, KPMG, Deloitte, Future First and many more visit for Placements. The Internship opportunities are too great for every course students. Internship projects with companies like Udamgyan help students get better in hand experience of the corporate world.

Quality of placement is 3 out of 5 . 40% gets placed . Also the highest salary package offered is 3-4lakh per annum . It goes to bcom honours . The placement process wasn't easy .but the college is supportive.

College campus is really good. Also it encourages us to take care of environment due to certain practices performed in campus such as rain water harvesting,worm composting, etc . Teachers are really supportive .

College don't have a big campus which one must have thought of. The campus is so small. During the annual fest different contests, games happens in the campus only. Location is good. Versova beach is so nearby to college. Also Versova meuro station, Juhu Beach and Infinity mall is also nearby.

The course curriculum is well designed by the experienced faculties teaching Computer Engineering under Mumbai University. Recently, their has been changes in the curriculum so as to meet industrial needs. There are 2 unit tests of 20 marks each carried out, one is after 30-40% syllabus gets covered, the next is during term end. Final semester exams of 80 marks take place after practical and oral exams. Faculty is good.

Placements for computer science, information technology, and EXTC students are very good at this college. For mechanical students, placements and job opportunities are very less. The highest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA for the year 2019-2020. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA for the year 2019-2020. L&T, TCS, Tata Power, are the top recruiting companies.

All the facilities are updated as hostels are updated ,as hostels are old but very clean and have much space ,There are wifi all around campus so you can enjoy unlimited internet there.The infrastructure is old as building were constructed very earlier but campus has vert huge space.College canteen is not good as it not maintained well.Food in mess is not good but you can left mess and live in hostel.
