My institute have all the necessary infrastructure like proper classes. The new academic building we have got has air conditioned sloping lecture halls with comfy benches. We have 25x7 water and electricity. We are also endowed with 24x7 lan with min speed of 12mbps which may go as high as 60-70 mbps at peak hours. The library is just cool. Thousands of books of any genre you want to see. And most my friends miss the mess food when we are at home. So u can probably imagine the level of food.
Academics
You come here for better job opportunities. So only bookish knowledge is definitely not going to help you. You will get here an ambient environment of coding or people interested in management or other proffession that you may think of.
Placements
The placement is one thing we at NIT JAMSHEDPUR boast off. Almost ?% are placed from each branch in their interested companies. The package that you get here is on average 10-12 lpa highest going as high as 60+ lpa, which , obviously, depends completely on your talent.
Campus Life
It is just amazing. Once you come here you will never want to go back home. You will have your own rules, own family, own enjoyment.

The quality of education here is average. The Curriculum is time to time updated. The College is best for mechanical Department since it is the oldest branch of bit sindri. The professors are very Experienced and knowledgeable in this Department and with experinced teachers make placement scenerio good.

The quality of placement here is average. The highest package was offered by Honda R&D that is 10.12 lakhs to a chemical student. Various other compnies comes regularly for placement like Tata Steel, Jindal stainless Steel, TCS NINJA,Aditya Birla, Tata Power, L&T,VEDANTA and many more companies frequently visit our College.The average package is 4.8 lakhs. Almost 55-60 Percent students get placement every year. The placement process is not very easy nither very tough.Tap Cell supports a lot.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. Its a huge campus of around 500 acres. You will enjoy here if you are a nature lover. A lots of greenery in our college. There is no disturbance of any kind since its situated far from main city. No External disturbance like the moving vechiles horns, trains unpleasant sound or anything. Its a very Peaceful place. The location is totally safe and it can handle any circumstances.

The total area of the campus is 29.8 acres. There are 3 big buildings in the college campus that is Main building, PG building and Admin Building. Classrooms are large and capable of accommodating of large number of students. All classrooms are equipped with wifi and projector. There is a Central Research facility for research scholars. The college library has more than One lakh books and journals.There are laboratories available for every subjects. There is one auditorium for conducting events.

I have pursued Bsc in Geology (Hons.) from this college. Geology has a very great future ahead. This subject is rarely taken by students so the competition is also very less. The college has a good course curriculum and boasts of decent teaching facilities. The quality of teaching is very much impressive because the professors are well educated and very helpful to the students.

I respectfully say that this college has no placements in the Geology department. It is because there are very low level jobs for undergraduate students in this course. There is a placement cell in our college but that only works for vocational departments. I personally think that it should work for other departments also.

College Annual Fest is celebrated on 3 days of February month in which every students can participate and can show their talent. The location of the college is at the centre of the city. The college infrastructure is upgrading day by day and a new features and facilities are introduced every year. But in the current scenario the institution have a well maintained classrooms, laboratories, laboratories ,sports centre and hostel with classrooms having smart boards but facility of Wi-Fi is not present. The college provides good faculties and professor for for the academic purposes but the level of education is not up to the mark as compared to other colleges. Not only the students but the professor don't seem totally dedicated towards the the teaching learning processes and this lack of interest in the academic section automatically decreases the capability and knowledge of the students. The quality of education is not up to the mark and students hardly get prepared for the job they want.

The college seems very supportive specially for the girls during the placement and are working hard to bring more companies the campus for the placements. I'm doing BCA from jamshedpur womens college and i chose this college for my UG because this college have a really nice faculty members in their computer department. And after BCA i got selected in the campus selection of WIPRO this year. And they are providing all the expenses and I'm well satisfied.

Look don't gonna lie, infrastructure of our college is one of it's weakest point. The academic building is old and vulnerable but are being under renovation. We are gonna get new lecture hall in the next semester equipped with every necessity. Labs are good so as the library n sports culture. Library has good wifi connection n well ventilated. But hostels are excellent. Each n every hostel Hostel J, K are mega hostels and I personally like the Hostel I.

I'm currently pursuing ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING here. Curriculum is not well updated but we get all kind of informations and materials mostly from our seniors through a whole lot of workshops. The seniors are really helpful. They are very kind. They give a very good environment and culture for us to be industry fit. A good coding culture is also one of it's renowned qualities.

Nothing to say about placements. If you are willing to work hard, you have the best place that you can get. Excellent placements of the core branches too specifically electrical n mechanical. Last year the highest package of around 43 lakhs went to an electrical guy in Microsoft. The industrial belt makes it so good in placements and also the quality of students that we have. This year too around 75/78 guys are placed from electrical till now. And in other branches too placement is excellent.

Very good campus life. Great hostels with LAN availability in the evening to midnight and 24 hour long during the weekend. We have pappu daa shop. The shop I personally love the most. You get all kinda eating things here at a reasonable price which is cool being inside the campus. We have amul canteen too. A night canteen for the mega hostels. They charge slightly higher being a night canteen. We have a common canteen called as NIT canteen where you can eat with a large group of friends n girls.
