It is on average since we will not get enough package nor the whole batch gets placement but everyone is preparing for govt jobs and we are getting enough knowledge for the jobs we get enough practical as well as theoritical knowledge .

For every student his college life is awesome because we get knowledge and also good friends and faculty members who help in your good and bad ways . Also we had enough grounds to work hard and improve physical fitness.

As i know there is not a very good placement. But if a student with high percentage with its all effort can definately got a good placement. Yes the placement process is easy. Percentage of students placed vary accourding to the branch no average percentage i know

collage infrastructure is best .we are taught in lecture theater which are quite big with proper audio system . I had not seen this type of platform in jammu collages.Infrastructure is clean and beautiful.pollution free environment no personal vehicals allowed inside it.There is wifi accesibility in whole collage. Laboratories are properly equiped with instruments.most important thing is we are having digital library also inside our library.

I am in computer science field persuing Btech .Because i want to become software engineer .Teaching is quite good in our institute .we have been taught with latest syllabus .there is some advanced level questions also in oue exams always which earlier come in enterance examinations like gate.

As i am in the first year so i dont know much about it earlier but this year placement number is quite good many students have qualified google exam .Off campus placement is quite good and you can say high .

The placement facility in our college is good and day by day it is gradually improve. The placement of student percentage are 80% and 20% students are opt the higher studies. The package of the salary depend upon company to company, the average salary is 5 lakh per annum .The process the placement is easy and pleasant for us and the college is very supportive to us in all mater regarding educational development.

It has completed its 50 glorious years and many students have passed their 12th board exam as well as completed their graduation with flying colours during those 50 years. The quality of placements is very impressive in this college. Previous years about 75% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was 8 lakhs per annum. And the average salary was about 3.5 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Tata Motors, Delloite, Infosys, L&T etc. 80% students got internship also in the companies like DRDO and others.

There are different clubs and sports in VSSUT for extracurricular activities. Students with interest in Technology stuffs can attend technical clubs like ROBOTICS, E-CELL, IIC, AVC, PIXELS and students with interest in Cultural events can attend SOULS, VIBRANZ, EMOTICA,etc. We have four primary sports in our college. They are BASKETBALL, CRICKET, FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL,etc.

The college is equipped with nice classrooms in the University building. The hostels are amazing for girls in MBlock, it's a complete hotel. The campus has a lot of greenary surrounding it and within it. The only thing not good is many classrooms do not have access to AC.

The teachers here are not great with the language. They might we well educated but when time comes to share the knowledge, there is a lack of communication. The syllabus and everything is good. We have a lot of exams with is again an issue becaus ewe don't get break.
Placements
As of last few years placements have been good for the students. The good companies like Amazon, Google, etc come and pick the best candidates from the final year with a great package of min 5 lakhs and maximum going upto 35-40 lakhs.

The Infrastructure of the college is above average. The classes are equipped with WiFi and Air condition. The Campus is kept very clean and hygienic. The college has several center of excellence which provide hands on labs like e-Yantra, Texas Technologies, etc The college has plenty of labs but in electronics and microprocessor labs the equipments are really old.

The curriculum is updated and teacher give there best to impart knowledge to students. The college regularly conducts several tests and exams which is kind of tiresome but worth it. The reality is the course of AKTU is not industry level but it is to fill the basics of students.

Placements are an average the maximum package of year 2019 was 19 LPA (Amazon) in CSE Department. If you have knowledge and a good grasp in your field then you can easily get a 6 LPA job in this college. The placement in other departments like Mechanical and Civil are very low.
Campus Life
The college campus is not that big but its average. There are only two canteens. The food served there is great. There are several activities to take part but its not worth it except for CSE and IT students because there are several workshops and seminars that are organized on a regular basis which concerns only CS and IT Department.

Projectors are there which are used to give ppts and lectures. Laboratories are fully air conditioned. Each student is provided with a single computer system with network connection. There is free wifi in the campus. All kind of indoor and outdoor games are played in addition to studies. Even the canteen feed us good hygienic food.

i am pursuing computer science and engineering from MIET because i think this the college which provides lots of oppurtunities to the students and can excel a lot. Another reason is that teaching is very good in this college. All the syllabus is completed on time and faculty have the ability to raise a student at her best level to get a good job.

Our recently designed course has been designed keeping in mind the modern technology and the upcoming needs and trends which we will be using in coming future because of this our job has become quite easy and we are job-ready .

Placement has been the most important factor of choosing any college and in this field our college is way ahead and compete with the top engineering institutions of the country such as top IITs, top NITs, DTU , BITS and other top colleges. Almost 90% of the students who sit for college placements get placed to different companies and the highest package offered was around 1.5 crore to a student studying in IT branch. Average salary of our college hangs roughly around 11-15 lacs per annum .
