Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Bihar Engineering University, Patna.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission in PCE for four years B.Tech. the course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

College Infrastructure

College infrasturcture is good if you are really a student you will love to see big buildings and there a hostel which makes students easier to checkout college anytime.However, there is pond inside which remains as it is better not to go there.

Goverment Engineering College Purniea is overall good.

College Infrastructure

Goverment Engineering College Purniea is excellent in infrastructure. Also Hostel and mess are in good condition but may improve in future. Also college situated in market area.The college places a strong focus on in-depth study and instruction that combines technical know-how and social responsibility. The college is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, and approved by AICTE.

College Infrastructure

Facilities is very good, Many types of facilities are available for e.g Boys hostel, girls hostel separately, computer lab, machinery lab, electronics lab and so more. Laboratories is also available. college campus is very large. Many students are playing sports in this campus.
