The infrastructure is quite alluring. You could relate the building plan with one of the IIMs. If one talks about hygiene and surroundings ,than PSIT will meet your standards . The Dining halls are extra clean and Hostel rooms are spacious. The whole area is surrounded through green and buildings are enriched with centralized AC plant. WiFi is still a issue but labs and classes are updated. there is 24*7 medical facility available.
Academics
I am pursuing ECE because it gives you the knowledge about communication but also perks of CS. As we both know some faculties are good some are average and few of them are below aveage, so this college also follows the same criteria . If we talk about curriculum then it almost updates every semester , but still unable to introduce latest technology trends . If you wanna go for GATE then then it is ample, but for AI, IOT, Blockchain it still lags behind.
Placements
The placements are provided but total value is quite less. If you a genius of class you can get max package of 9 l.p.a but for mid-walkers it is 3-4 l.p.a. If you are able to qualify the criteria then there is 85% placement record but for CS/IT/ECE. Still for other branches it is unsatisfactory. But the college is very supportive , training sessions are held from 1st year itself.

There are lot of restrictions on outing and in-time. Your outing will be blocked if u r late. In this college you are not allowed to bunk even one class . The rules are so brutal that if caught bunking your whole day attendance would be blocked. You are not allowed to keep any electrical equipment like boilers and dryers. Fine will imposed on each mistake.

The infrastructure is really good and has seperate blocks for each course. There are facilities like library, indoor stadium, gym, canteen but there is no ground for outdoor games. As I am in first year, I had not come across any lab. Everything in this college is good like there are projectors in each class and WiFi in the campus.

I am presently studying BBA in this college. Till now I have not faced any problem with neither teaching nor syllabus. The curriculum is updated and is affiliated to Osmania University. There are many internships offered by the college to gain experience. So we are ready for the job once we finish graduation as we get trained in the class as well as through these internships.
Placements
Many reputed companies visit our college and they select students according to their requirements. The average package for this year till now is 2.5 lakhs per annum. Most of the students don't show much interest towards placements as they wanted to do higher studies. Out of 60, 10 got placed till now in this academic year.
Campus Life
The thing which I liked the most is the events because there are motivational talks, management related events and many more where we get a chance to develop our personality and skills. The only disadvantage is that we don't have a ground for outdoor games. Sports Club, drama club, management club, NSS, ncc club are all clubs which help a student in his overall development. The student-teacher interaction is also good. Women's safety club looks after the safety of women.

The college has centralised air conditioning for the summers and heating for the winters. So the classes are temperature controlled. The seating arrangements unlike anything I have ever seen in my life, very forward thinking. There are computer labs, a canteen and cafe, a large sports ground and fairly reliable wifi throughout the college. The food is a possibly a little above avg for DU college standards.
Academics
I feel it is the Societies and college culture that keep you job ready. The curriculum is DU mandated. The teaching is dependant on the professors - are brilliant, some average and some poor. There is sometimes a shortage of teaching staff and permanent faculty which sometimes results in a compromise of the teaching ability of the professor hired.
Placements
Some of the best companies come to SSCBS for recruitment - eg: Bain Capability, BCG, McKinsey etc. Majority of the students do get placed. The highest package is often an outlier. The highest take home salary is around 10LPA and a select few receive such a package. The cumbersome constraints around placement procedures has more to do with adhering to the rules of the companies that come for recruitment and less to do with the placement cell of the college.
Campus Life
It is a bit isolated and so it doesn't get the benefit of having a north campus vibe. That being said it does aid in keeping you focused. If you're out to have 'fun' in college, this may not be your cup of tea. Food seems to be a bone of contention for many. Cost of food is also relatively higher than other DU colleges, owing to its location (but only marginally). Students have a plethora of Societies to pitch themselves for, and man do these Societies keep you busy !

I am currently pursuing B.A Hons in English , I took admission as the college is best in the town for Graduation and post Graduation. Class runs regularly but very less students attends regular classes College was established in 1954 and now it is affiliated to Nilamber Pitamber University. Curriculum is not updated as per the mordern scenario.

No Placement or Job opportunity is provided by the college, neither any company visits the college for campus recruitment. You can only get job by your own sources after passing from GLA college. Most of the students here tries for Government Jobs.

The curriculum is updated with all the necessary infrastructure in classrooms and labs. But a bachelor's degree in Science in not what you need for a job, so you shouldn't expect this from here as well. But from the perspective of doing masters, academics is at par.

The Placement Cell of Hindu College is one of the best in University. Though not all the courses are meant for placements but majority of students appearing for placement interviews get selected. The highest job offer for the session 2019-20 stood at 29 Lacks.

Traditionally well-equipped classrooms with boards, lecture stands, and mostly stable benches with little to average ventilation. There's a WiFi that is accessible to select students and in select areas. The labs are air conditioned, along with department rooms and staff rooms. Practical labs with computers are functioning well and accommodate a whole class comfortably.

Studying English honours in the college, I can say my department teachers are quite nice. There's always a mix of good and bad so can't say I love all of them but most of them are very helpful. One can always reach out for help and source material to any teacher in the department and be assured of help. Practical knowledge and critical thinking are essential in the course and the department internal assessments are based on challenging those qualities in students which helps making us job-ready.

The technical details of average and highest package is fluctuating so you can check the college website for that. For English Honours, there has been hiring for TFI and NIIT. Even though not a lot of companies se afoot for the course particularly, it is mostly because most people are looking for masters in the same before working. However, there are quite a lot of internships that one can find throughout the year. For BCom (P), (H), and Eco, there are quite a lot of companies visiting.
Campus Life
The location is the best perk you'll get from this college. It's wall-to-wall with the metro station (JLN, violet line, gate 5) and within 1km, exposes students to IHC, Lodhi Garden, and Khan Market. Depending upon your pocket and interest, you can visit nearby places with friends in-between lectures. The Safdarjung hospital is closely located and Lajpat Nagar market is 10 minutes away via metro. The only challenge currently is that the evening and morning colleges share some resources.

Although it requires constant repairs and maintenance (main building and academic section is more than 50 years old) some classes are equipped with smart boards and all. College holds a good reputation among corporations. Being an old institute it has a huge alumni base which are well connected and help out the institute and it's students in placements. Mostly good and elite companies visit campus and provide an above average compensation for Engineering.

Anyone can get a job from our college if he/she is a hard working student with a passion. To get a job,it is not easy. But our training and placement cell gave us continual training on our aptitude and communication skills. There were also mock interviews to help us get a job. Various renowned companies like Pinnacle, Youngman India,Prism Johnson, Qualcomm, A B Polypacks came for campusing and many of our friends got job with package varying from 2-4.5 LPA.

For particularly ME department, the most enjoyable event is Biswakarma Puja. Our department is the host for this Puja. We, students also engage is different art works and related works for making decorations and make the event a success. There are our cultural fest Navodaya and tech fest Kritanj which gives platform for our unique skills and innovative ideas. The teachers day celebration is also another fun to us.

Our college doesn't have it's own hostel but offers a great source of gaining knowledge. It has it's own wifi facility with a central computer lab, where you can do all necessary works. Each classroom has Air Conditioner..with smart board. Canteen i also air conditioning with almost every thing in very affordable prices. Our library is one of thr largest library in DU with all necessary books with lot of copies. An Open gym and a mother dairy stall is also present here.

In this section I'm giving 5 stars because the teachers are very dedicated and hardworking. They are not missing any class and If they miss due to some reason they take extra class but always completes the syllabus within time limit with an ease..And i think you will not get these dedicated teachers anywhere.

I'm not so much interested in this field but as per my friends and seniors many companies are coming to our college and are giving many jobs and internships to the students. But yes many more companies are yet to come.

Everything is Outstanding you will miss this place as like my seniors do.. The main thing is this college is having it's own bus stop. And metro stations are also very close to the college. So I'm telling you you will not regret to take admission here as many of it's societies are top in DU level. I'm mentioning some like Tryambakam, Quest , Dadhichi etc. So take admission here and make your future better.
