The college infrastructure is really good. The laboratories are well equipped and updated. The hostels are comfortable and well maintained. We have a spacious campus too and all the major facilities are available inside the campus.

The academics of the college is pretty average. Your experience will mainly depend upon the professors you get. The college syllabus is pretty in line with the industry demand, especially for my department and we do have some unique branches that are not offered by many colleges in India.
Placements
The placements of this college is pretty good. The highest CTC this year was 45lpa this year. Some really big tech giants like google and microsoft also hire students from our college which in itself is a testament of how good the placements are.

The campus life is really amazing. Our techno management fest is really awesome. The college has really good and safe environment for all its students and the faculties and seniors are really friendly towards the student. All this culminate to provide a good experience to students.

Our college is on the verge of completing 100 years of serving the world hence the infrastructure is old but is maintained timely so no issues are there, as a part of swachh bharat mission cleanliness is maintained in the whole university. Quality of teaching is similar to any other government colleges either you go to an IIT or NIT nothing changes it totally depends on your capabilities. College got a huge multi story library to sit back and learn with tones of books

The college infrastructure is really good and we have a spacious green campus of around 30 acres. We have all the necessary facilities in our college including sports fields, gyms, restaurants etc. The laboratories are a bit outdated and the hostels need to serve better food.

The academics are pretty average. Some teachers are really good while some are really sub par considering engineering standards. The college follows MAKAUT syllabus which as every one is aware is not very inline with the industry demands.

The core students here really do struggle to get good placements. The CSE, IT and ECE departments fare well though. Also the placements are pretty decent for Biotechnology, Food technology and chemical students. They are offered good jobs with decent packages.

BIT Sindri was established in 1949. At that time it had one of the best infrastructure with all the equipments. With time other colleges developed but all the equipments of our college were not changed along with the infrastructure. However in recent times major focus has been given to the infrastructure but the labs and the equipments are still not in working conditions. The computer labs are good and Siemens' centre of excellence is also some recent advancements. Hostels are average.

I am currently studying mechanical engineering. Some professor are really good. The new professors are focusing more on the conduction of classes and they are putting their 100% effort. However in mechanical departments the labs equipment are very old and it should be changed. College should focus more on student's projects and providing them a working exposure.

The placements are very average. Tata Steel provides pre placement opportunities in the 3rd year to around 5 students with CTC around 12 lpa. The other company that visits are ABG, JSL, Verdant, Adani, L&T, Honda R&D, TCS Ninja, Cognizant, Tata Power, ZS etc. and most of them provide fixed CTC. The average package of the college is 4.83lpa. Last year a total of 318 students were placed.

You would enjoy your campus life here (if you make good friends). The seniors are amazing and supportive. You would learn here to enjoy all the little things in life. The hostel life masti is the best thing. You will enjoy the campus. There's one canteen here. But you have to travel around 35kms if you want to watch a movie or visit a mall as it is located in the outskirts of dhanbad. However there are local markets where you will get amazing street food.

The campass is not so good like other NITs and IITs. Most of the students are engaged in the various clubs of BIT sindri here. Teachers are very good and supportive. The location is safe and the best thing is that the girls hostel is fully secured, the hostel has their own gate and the guard was there all the time. Yes, it can handle emergencies.

Currently, I am studying B.com here. The quality of teaching here is average. The college follows the guidelines of the CSJMU and the syllabus is regularly revised as per the guidelines. The faculty here is well educated to clear all our doubts and are ready to help us in all possible ways. Staff here is not polite though. This is my final year here and am looking to pursue my post grad from any other college.

Sadly, we don't even have any placement cell here in the college and there are no campus placements here. After the completion of the course students are on their own for their placements and its your hustle which will result in you landing on a job. The college doesn't provide placements even for the professional courses.

Campus life here is below average. The campus is very big with plenty of greenery around and girls to boy ratio is quite good. There are some sports event also organized by the college during the fests.
