College Infrastructure
KMC has moderate infrastructure. Most of the classrooms (except labs) lack air conditioners, which makes sitting in crowded classrooms during summers very difficult. It lacks modern facilities like smart boards. WiFi is available but it is very slow. The sports centre has grounds for many variety of games, but it lacks the equipment (like balls, racquets etc.). The college is overall hygienic, but the canteen food is not very good. The college has many open areas for recreational activities.
Academics
I am studying B.Sc. (H) Statistics. Generally speaking, statistics has a lot of scope in the job market. But the outdated curriculum negates that. The curriculum focuses a lot on theory and very little on practicals. The focus on theory is good, but it should be matched by an equal focus on practical applications. Subjects like machine learning are not even touched in this course. So overall the course does not make one job ready. The faculty is a mixed bag of both good and mediocre professors.
Placements
A very less percentage of students get placed as most students opt for further studies. Most companies offer packages in the range of 3-6 LPA. Some dream tier companies come with packages as high as 18 LPA (inflated), but they hardly take 1 student from the entire campus. The placement process is easy and pleasant overall. The placement cell coordinates the process efficiently. Most of the profiles offered are general, like marketing, consulting, sales etc. No technical roles are offered.
Campus Life
Campus life can be very good if one is a part of the various societies (like Enactus and Placement Cell). However, they have a selective recruitment procedure and a very few students make it to them. Being a small campus, there is not much to do apart from attending classes or playing a few sports, or studying in the library. The location of the college is just behind Kamala Nagar, which is very good. GTB Nagar is also near to the college, which provides a good getaway to hangout with friends.

College is not but i can just say average because there no wifi in hostel, no enough field for playing games like crickets etc .There no smart bords and projector in classes. There is not enough equipment in lab but Computer labs are enough available but other not enough instruments in lab.

Faculties are not good but we can say average because some faculties are goods .There are only few faculties are phd holders. But it ok if you reads books to gaining knowing. But 1 things is good syllabus always finished in each semester.

There only placement for cse and ec students.and others Branch students never placed by campus.There is few company visit on campus . Students are only get average package around 15000- 35000/ month .

Campus life is poor because there is Lot's of rules for live in hostel .we can not mobile phone laptop after 9pm in night .if we do they charge fine 500. By theway teachers are supporting but they also are give punishment if we not finish our works and assignments.

Nsut is a well known Tier 1 college, it's infrastructure is well maintained and it's about 150 acres. You will find flower beds from the entrance to main academic building, there are multiple washrooms/water tanks on each floor, you will get free Wifi all over the campus. Hostel's washrooms/rooms are clean and food is hygienic with a different menu each day . There is cricket,football, basketball, volleyball ground for sports facility. You will find a huge library with lot of books to study :D

Course curriculum is upto date ,but facility of teachers is not that good . They have knowledge but lack of teaching skills. Few teachers are very dedicated to their work , they will help you anytime when you need them!
Placements
Almost every company that visit IIT DELHI, IIIT DELHI & DTU also visits NSUT DELHI in placement as well as internship season, Almost above 90% Students get placed and the highest international package offered is 1.25 crore and highest domestic is 40LPA. If you are deserving then NSUT will provide you with amazing placements!

College has good infrastructure but needs improvement.facilities include free wifi , cafeteria,separate hostels for boys and girls hostel.laboratories are fully equipped but has old technological instruments. Seminar halls are equipped with projector. No smart class facilities. Has big grounds for football, volleyball and cricket. Separate basket ball court. Auditorium for cultural events. Labs need a great deal of improvement. Living spaces are clean and hygienic for good studies.

The quality of teaching is above average. Some teachers teaches great others dont. However they are supportive in every aspect of studies. They maintain a good teacher student relationship. College comes under MAKAUT. Syllabus is updated for students of 2018 but older batches are studying old syllabus.study are more of a exam passing than making students job ready.

Quality of placements are average provided that the students are not groomed properly for campus recruitment. More than approx 78% are placed with average salary of 3-4 lacs. The highest which is heard was 8 lacs for a non technical department. College do provide some assistance but it is not at all helping in students perspective.

College campus has a nice aura. Students mix well here. Though college is in bengal but it has more students from bihar and jharkhand. Students can engage in different extra academic activities and join different clubs of their choice.collegevalso has a social club which do different volunteer works on behalf of college.

I never felt placement is 100 percent , why they say it is hundered percent because they can push their students in any company , no matter what package they get , I think it is a rotten fruit of our investment in technical course.

Not upto mark campus life everything in the college is for formalities, they conduct their cultural programs when your semester exams are near, due to which you hardly get 2 month for finishing your syllabus of semester exam that's why students get backlogs.

Our campus is lush green and eco-friendly covered with colourful flowers. Labs are well equipped with all the necessary tools and materials. BIT is improving it's infrastructure continuously . Classroom reminds our schooldays. Lab equipments are too old . Library has whole lot of books you may need in your college life. No wifi facilities, smart boards are hardly used. Sweeper will regularly clean your living space for free , but food is too oily .

I'm an electrical engineering student, as I have always been eager to know about all electrical gadgets . The curriculum is quite theoretical but, faculty members are highly knowledgeable who tends to keep us updated. If you are keen to know, professors will greatly assist you.
Placements
Average Placement package here is around 2.5 to 3 lakhs and it was 10 lakh at the high end. Electrical batch is at the top in terms of placement. Other branches like mining, metallurgy also have good records in placement. But, Production, CSE,IT have poor record in this. The placement graph is improving with time and placement cell also works hard to get its students placed.
Campus Life
Campus is very large having 2 sports playgrounds over there. Various clubs and societies have emerged like coding club, arts club, painting wing, ECO Club , sports club and more which can ingage you in my activities throughout the year. The college location is rural where it takes almost one and a half hour to reach the main city ( Dhanbad) . No better medical facilities are available even in emergency.

The college building is not in well condition. The classroom have no AC, no CCTV for security purpose, not spacious. There is no proper drinking water in the block. Few classes have smart boards installed. There is no network inside classes. The laboratories are closed due to construction. Right now due to construction, it's messy everywhere.

I am doing B.tech in Mechanical engineering. The teaching quality in college is average, but they are trying to improve the quality. They also have introduced a new language in syllabus for students. They also have introduced many other subjects in 2nd and 3rd year which will develop us academically and professionally. The curriculum keeps on updating every semester. At the end, it all depends on talent nd skills of student.

The placement in our college is good for Computer science and few other branches. Every year, several companies visit campus with job offers and around 60-70% students are being placed every year. Many of the students go for higher studies and apply for off campus jobs. The college is also supportive. These all was said by my teachers to me.

The campus life is boring. There was no freshers party for first year student. The college does not organise any type of cultural fest, no functions, only seminars and conferences are organised. There is no auditorium inside campus. There are many restrictions inside campus. The teachers are supportive. There is no playing ground and show least interest in sending teams for competitions. The campus is situated in Selaiyur, Tambaram. It is situated near to railway and airport. There is hospital.

Metallurgical engineering because I've always been interested in this field. curriculum is devloped at many extent but updates needed. I've always been interested the operation behind the steel industries .

Placement quality is very good. Return on investment is brilliant. In the batch of 2019 placements was 100 percent in Metallurgical engineering. Opportunities are very high. TCS ,Wipro etc are software companies which came to campus for providing opportunities and in core field ABG , TATA steel and JSL are reqruiters.

this college campus is cool , i loved it alot . it is smaller than cu , p.u but infrastructure and other things are better than others. the students are engaged in many activities i.e. NCC , sports ( almost every sports ) , patents and much more. all the students and teachers specially H.O.D sir is much supportive .
