For Statistics Department, all the necessary infrastructures are present. Though the department is a bit small, there are everything a statistics student need. We have laboratory, departmental and central libraries, hostels. These are well maintained as well. The food is also hygienic in canteen.

I was studying statistics. Faculty of our department is very well balanced. Teachers are very friendly and are always there to help you. The curriculum is also new and based on CBCS semester system. The study also makes you ready for different govt job exam after graduation.

No such placements are offered after BSc. Stat. But you will be well prepared to take admission in elite institute like ISI, IIT Kanpur, Calcutta University for master degree.
