To be honest my experience is good in the college.

All facilities regarding sports like cricket ground, football ground, swimming pool, badminton court, Volleyball court basketball court etc are available . Classroom contains smart facilities fully equipped with projectors. There are various equipments in the laboratory which is very very costly. Hostels contains Wifi, the food quality is good as compared to other NITs.

I am a 3rd year student from the Department of Metallurgy and Materials engineering. In college life mostly you have to learn by practicals instead of notes. So here also practicals are preferred so that you can learn and feel in easier way. There are various committees fir placements which guide students for placement.

Placement scenario is not very bad as many of the people think. It varies department wise like for the Information Technology batch placement is around 90%. The average salary is also varied department wise.

If you loves the nature and greenery environment, then this campus is for you. There are various places to sit where you can talk with your Friends. The campus is located at the bank of Hooghly river. So the weather is max. time cool.

The placements are very good. All the faculties, placement coordinators are working hard to get every student placed in a reputed and good company. The average and highest package both are very satisfactory according to the investment done.

Our college has a well developed infrastructure in the new building. The older batches used to go outside the campus for practical classes in certain subjects. But the new building has all the laboratories needed for all practical classes. The classrooms contain a projector, a screen, and internet connection. The living spaces are clean and mess serves hygienic food.

I am studying B.tech Dairy technology. We have a well qualified faculty for teaching. Our curriculum contains a variety of courses which not only shapes the academic qualities, but also shapes the human values inside us.

We have a well functioning placement cell. The milk marketing federation of Kerala, KCMMF recruits staffs to various plants all over the state from our college. Private dairies also select the students of our college.

Academic wise our college is having well qualified faculty and post graduated professors and quality of teaching i can say its ok easy to understand and in my college day to day updates are given in notice board and it includes all the recent developments in my computer science engineering and yes if we have good communication skills and technical skills we would get good job.

And in our college wipro,salesforce,tcs visited our college and quality of placements are good and highest package is 8 lac per year and 55 percent of the students placed in good companies and average salary is 2 lac per year and my college is very supportive in giving encouragement when our ideas in a implented manner and in our placement cell placements will go in a pleasant cool and step by step manner.

I'm studying mainly about dairy sector. The main subjects handled are dairy technology, dairy engineering, dairy microbiology, dairy chemistry, dairy business management. The quality of teaching is very good and interactive. Changes are periodically done and syllabus is revised. But question papers must be made available in the site for students to refer. The syllabus of the course include a training program in the last year which gives a job oriented way of studying.

Campus placed is not that good but compared to our co-colleges placement rate is higher. But need to have a more companies to approach the college. A connection with seniors who spreads all over the world can be a solution for this situation

Our campus is quite large. It offers clean air, enough open space. Very suitable for walks, discussions and gatherings. Our campus is eco-friendly. Veterinary campus is a green campus. Has got enough space for sports activities. The students teachers and non teaching staffs have a good bond.

My college Infrastructure is commendable. The institute was founded in 1887 and keeping that in mind the institute is well maintained and has shown development. The campus is cleaned and maintained by college workers. The college library has been renovated recently and has grown bigger. We also have well equipped labs. The classes have projectors because of which the teaching - learning experience becomes easy. The canteen has affordable and clean food. There are 4 hostels in the campus too.

The teachers in our college are very good at their job and are well experienced. The teachers consider students to be intelligent and expect a lot from students. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University and is autonomous college. The environment is quite good and the senoirs are helpful.

VJTI gives one of the best placements results across the state. Almost all students get placed in good companies. Even during Covid pandemic on student got 44 lakhs package from Microsoft .More than 200 companies visit for placement and internships.
