They have spacious psychology labs but some of the experiments are outdated which is more reflective of the curriculum than the equipment. The library is well equipped with materials and books on all relative topics. The hostels are hygienic and well maintained however they have strict curfew based on gender and usually after 6 p.m., no one is allowed outside even if for groceries, essentials, medicines; this is slightly inconvenient since most classes and extra-curricular programs end late.

I did Psychology in my program while I studied there and several times I and my classmates were teaching the professors who were so ill-informed about the chapter they taught. The teachers are often shuffled across subjects so sometimes you might get a teacher who has not specialized in the field teaching you about it. Further improvements are needed to be job ready and have recent developments inculcated into the program.

This might be more due to the nature of psychology as a subject area which branches further into academia, research and higher studies before becoming profitable. Placements for humanities usually came from the internships done during the course of studies and highest would be for journalism. Unaware about specific salary packages.

Best features are that there are many clubs and organizations that one can be a part of; worst is that the admin is bureaucratic and can complicate student's issues ranging from attendance to dress code to lack of stringent measures on indecent behavior exhibited by staff from admin to all the way into the top. The lack of safety is alarming considering that this is one of those colleges that has made us go to campus during public strikes.

The infrastructure is quite impressive, but is a work in progress. The goal of infrastructure set by the University is very ambitious and promising. The cons are that there are not many trees/greenary and it has quite a few slopes. There are two functioning libranties, a three floored auditorium, a gym and many more facilities.

PES has been in the top colleges of Karnataka consistently for a long time now, it has proven itself pretty well over the years. They take their courses and teaching very seriously and do not cut corners whatsoever for academics. They have great, highly qualified and competent professors most of whom have a doctorate degree.

PES gets placements from one of the largest companies globally. It's the only University where Google and Microsoft hires from. The lowest package is also way higher than other colleges. The highest package was around 70 lakhs.

Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are much airy and includes wide area. The class benches are very much comfortable and accommodates all the students without any difficulty. We are provided with the facility of air-conditioner in every classroom.So to feel disgust and irritating during summer classes is not our concern.Being a chemistry student our lab is very much equipped with all the necessary apparatus required for our experiments.

I am pursuing chemistry hons and intend to do research work in future. Our college provides us with very well trained and student-friendly teachers whom we can approach without any hesitation. They always end up covering our syllabus on time. The syllabus as provided by the Calcutta University for the Bsc Chemistry hons students is although vast but very much important and appropriate for us. It makes us accustomed to every details which a chemist should know.

The campus is huge. Surrounded by the building all round it has a huge playground area in between where the assembly is held. It even has a basketball court where the students are allowed to play and even can get trained from the teachers. Our college has a swimming pool and even gym equipments are provided in our common room which is the best place to relax. Our canteen is really spacy with alot of chairs being provided for the students to sit and eat comfortably.
