Everything is great here. Wifi connection is great here. The college have all the facilities. The facilities in every classroom,laboratory,library, sports etc is all maintained properly. The living space is clean.

The teacher here are knowledgeable. I am studying Btech CSE. Yes, the curriculum updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes the thing we study makes us job ready. Also, Self study is important

The placements here is better in this tough times for students.The placement officer are supportive and motivated. Average salary is 8 lakhs. The placement process is easy and pleasant for us.90% students were placed.

The college infrastructure is outstanding and the college have all the necessary facilities and the classroom are well maintained and the the libraries is also there with a sillence environment but the hostel facility is not there

I have completed b.sc from their and the quality of teaching is very good and the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in the field and the academics is very good and staff is very supportive

The quality of placement is poor their and the placement is verry poor as this college does not have placement policy but the college is supportive rather than the placement but in other curiculum activites

Being a 102 year old, infra is still that 102 years old, very poor and old infrastructure, only siemens lab is well furnished and it's developed to something at next level, even top IITs don't have any that kind of lab, except that everything is trash, from hostels to academic blocks to departments everything requires reconstruction, though PEC has started spending a good chunk of money on infra,it will take around 2 years to build it but I have seen the construction, PEC is building a new ERA.

I am really disappointed with PEC's curriculum, being a Teir-1,I thought it will be having excellent curriculum but later I came to know every top college like IITs,NITs,PEC,DTU are struggling with academics, but having top students from all over India PEC stands out in every Field including startups, Placements, producing Top Talents of India in every area, so academics doesn't effect overall growth of students even it enhances skills because we get enough time to work on coding etc

Placements are outstanding and you will feel 100% secured about your future, Talking about Average Package its 16.7 LPA for overall, CSE average package is 25LPA. ECE is 18LPA, EE is 15LPA, I am a Data Science student but Data science currently don't have any placement stats because DS was started this year so our first batch will have placements in 2025, talking about non-circuital placements is not that good but compared to private college CSE placements our lower branch placements are better.
Campus Life
PEC Campus is very small and old so in starting you will very bored but will you connect with friends and seniors it will become great with and then it get's mixed with Chandigarh vibes which makes it heaven for a student , Teachers and support staff are mostly unsupportive, some of them are really excellent but you butter them a little bit, This Campus or I will say this best planned city Chandigarh can handle any kind of emergency very easily

I pursued pgpm finance and yes the quality and the professors are amazing and friendly and on toes to help always. The curriculum is well updated and the case study method helps us students to get more of practical knowledge.

The overall placement process was pretty well managed and the college made sure to place each and every student. The students placed percentage was 98 and avergage package was 6lacs p.a and highest was 13lacs.
Campus Life
Since mine was a covid batch did not live campus life much. Contary if would have got the chance it would have been great experience. But later when things started getting normal, college did conduct annual fest which made us feel belonged and lived a bit of it

placements are too good they are giving placements to the every student, they try to give placements to every student . The highest package is around 12 lpa and the average package is of 4.5 lpa which enough for a fresher.

Campus life is also good they have decent activities to do in campus but they are sufficient for any college like they have cricket ground , basket ball ground , canteen , clean hostel and location is also nice .

There is no permanent faculties. Academic curriculum is not well defined , no regular classes, schedule is also not well defined . Credits are also less of each subject, non teaching staff is also not supportive

No company is coming in the year 2023, and the companies which are hiring are also offering very low packages like 25k/month. The administration also doesn't support the students for the placement and internship.

PEC has almost every necessary facility, and equipments but the problem is with it's old infrastructure, except the New Academic block for first year students every department lacks basic facilities like air conditioning, smart classes though PEC is working on it but it will take time, Hostels are also like 'you have to live there no other option', very poor hostels except the new ones which are given to either people having connections or early arrivers, Food is improved a lot.

Poor Academics, I am in Electrical branch, quality of teachers is good but PEC don't have enough infra and machines, Machines and robots that were given by big MNCs are not properly maintained and they lack servicing, curriclum is out dated as that of every tier-1 college of India, This will never make you job-ready, PEC's exposure is what will make you ready for a high paying job.

I am doing BBA from college and the teachers in this college are mostly local teachers. These people have kept their teaching style very old. There is no development in their curriculum due to which we have to face a lot of problems and no classes are conducted for placement. Sometimes a quiz competition is organized and nothing else happens.

This college is very useless in terms of placement because only 30 to 40 percent of the students get placed in this college and There are very few companies comming in the campus due to which most of the students do not get placement. The average placement is around 1.5 lakhs and the highest placement is around 4 lakhs. Teachers and staff are not even supportive at the time of placement. When we go to ask anything, they do not help.
