College Infrastructure
The college has equipped some of the best laboratories and systems where students can get their hands dirty by actually doing the projects and simulations themselves. It has a big library wherein you can study whenever you want but not beyond 11:00 PM and has different sections for all streams.
Academics
The teachers for the under graduation are not that great. They lack the proper enthusiasm which a teacher should have which in return depletes the overall quality of the class. The curriculum is great and has support to all the upliftments that a student can think of. It also has student exchange programs which many of my friends have availed.
Placements
The placements of LPU is really good. The only thing that is guaranteed by the university is the placement. The teaching is fully towards the motive of getting the students placed. I can really vouch for the university's placement.

I'm a Computer Science Student CSE branch, the faculties are very good they always help the students when they need. They always give there 100% to the studies, all the things taught in the class will help us.

while placement time lost of companies are coming with big tags, lots of students are getting placed from the college campus only. Maximum students are getting 3.5L as a fresher, they always helps the students in there needs.

The quality of food is average, we have good sports facilities, and the infrastructure is also quite okay; we have Wi-Fi in the library and AC computer labs; every class has functioning fans and lights; washrooms are clean, but cleanliness should be ensured in washrooms; otherwise, the college campus is clean.

Higher education has never been more accessible, and there have never been more options for every type of budget, learning style, and goal. Having so many options is great, with one caveat. You have to decide where to pursue your goals.

My collage placement cells is average. It means the different different company visit our college for hiring of students but something they are not relevant to our field in which we are doing our graduation

It is average for me because I feel like it should be done some changes for improvement in college because change with the time is important. The environment of compus is safe and healthy. The metro route is also available on the way of college

I'm third year student of B.A (hons ) history. Teachers are really good and cooperative . Even during lockdown period they are doing their best like they are providing all the study material etc. Classes are regular and yes our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments that make us job ready.

Placement cell of this College is best. The placements are decent, with good companies offering packages ranging from 3-6 LPA. Highest package of salary are available only for b.com honours and economics Honours . Companies like KPMG , Google Come every year for giving opportunities to students .

Campus life is amazing, we have a lots of events that take place in the college from cultural fest to departmental fest. And you can also get engage with different societies . Teachers are very supportive and the non teaching staff as well. Our college location is perfect and safe .Its near other 3-4 colleges.

Calcutta university as compared to other government universities has a good library and good canteen. CU gives you proper seminars with great academicians. Yes, being a government college, benches are a bit unclean and cleaning doesn't happen often but as per regularity of classes, you wont have any complaints.

CU offers great classes. Professors are outstanding and would give you the best support ever. Classes are done with slide shows with projectors and classes are very interactive. The university has a big and great library.

Yes Calcutta University provides placement opportunity. MBA or such streams get decent placements. Arts stream students are also offered with few placement options. Even I belonging to a arts background bagged a bajaj allianz job

Yes our college do have all necessary infrastructure equipment etc. Living places washrooms are cleanly maintained and food is also hygienic. We found college premises very neat and clean all the time.

PGDM. I found this course adds much more value to my career. The syllabus is accurately given to the students what the corporate world needs. Also for PGDM there are many more opportunities in the upcoming world.

Number of companies are coming with high packages to offer students, but students are getting disqualified due to lack of proper skills what the companies actually want. But talent matters every where how much you learned is not important, it matters how well you performed infront the interviews.

Campus is not so spacious But we have everything inside. College staff take utmost care of students it is very safe inside the college

Infrastructure is great. You won't be able to access your classes in between class breaks though. They're kept locked. In summers, this is way too problematic because you have to walk to the library etc. to find a place to rest. There are no student lounges as well. You'd either have to go to H-block (food court + hostel block) or the library.

There is more focus on quantity of courses covered than the quality (had 13 subjects in the first semester itself, not joking). There are no field or industrial visits. Most professors just translate the slides in their own words.
Placements
The amount of money put into covering this course is way too high compared to the placements they give here. Even during summer internships you have to look one for yourself if you're serious about your career.

In my years, there is no placements for my studies, but now there is some placements happens for computer science students and get used to it, with the average salary of 2.5 LPA which good to choose here.

College infrastructure is not so good. It has normal classrooms with no sufficient facilities. There are no libraries, hostel facilities are no there as it is a day college. No smart classes are available. Campus is not that big, overall it is below average college.

I had studied BA in Sociology. There is no regular classes, so the question about quality of teaching does not arise. The curriculum is not up to date. They are not even having any proper books we just study from the guess papers.
Placements
No placement in our college. It is a normal college for women living in rural areas who want to pursue their under graduations. Having no such courses that requires placement. So there is no scene of placement and all.

I am in 1st year now so I didn't appeared in placement process but placement figures are somehow inflated . There are 60 senior student who are not placed yet , average is 10 lpa according to seniors .

Great infrastructure from swimming pool to smart labs. Classrooms are also good and the campus is well maintained. It has various labs for It, mechanical and aerospace. The university has also Mac labs available. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and University also has a mini mall.

Some faculties are awesome.. some read out the ppt. Met some faculties from top institution with great knowledge. The course structure is very well designed. But implementation is not there totally. So, be ready to self study if you wanna have a great career.

Almost everyone is placed. It's just the more dedicated you are.. the more your CTC. Average CTC is somewhere around 5-6 LPA. And based on your potential you can even get more than 50lakhs Ctc. A lot of companies visit the campus, if you're dedicated you can get a great start in your career.
