there are two girls hostel...wifi is crap even tho there are 2 modems. Also u can't use it to download stuff from torrent unless you change your vpn.Rooms are alright...like they're kinda big unless you happen to be paired up with architect students coz there table takes up a lot of space.Food is like basic. It's fixed...like you'd get the same food every month every week every day. Also there is a gym but currently it's gonna cost you 750 per month. Also there are washing machines in girls hostel..
I'm a student of Computer Science coz well...let's just say i'd rather code for my living than to do anything else.Teachers are alright...I mean they can't help the fact that subjects are so boring.Though mostly what teachers do is read off of slides.
I don't exactly know what salary package you'd get from this college...but just so you know this is a tier three college....So obviously like, don't expect a lot. Also not sure about good internships either.
College basically feels like it's built on a hill or something...I mean almost all the roads are inclined to some level...There are more inclined roads than staright ones inside the college. For guys I think it's a good thing that there's a basketball court and right next to it there is a big ground on the perimeter of which you could walk in the evenings.Location is also decent...The nearest mall is Vega city and i think it's about 25 min from college by cab. Also there are loads of eating places
Infrastructure is very poor they need to update more occassionally rather once in a decade. They also need to provide more facility inside the campus. They also stop selling their lands to private companies.
My department D.H.H.T.M. is quite better in many terms than any other over there except physiotherapy. So i will definitely say that they need to have more good faculties and good courses and also introduce new courses.
My department give 100% placement untill you are completely dumb. But i dont know about other departments. D.H.H.T.M. is good in placement so i will defilitely give good marks on this. They also train for trainings and all.
Campus is quite big but they do not have any single good place to hang with friends or spend time during leisure so i would like to mention this for sure. They need to introduce more things foe students benefit.
Infrastructure of college is too good . Our college has everything that is required to a students . Labs equipments are fine but not always workable . We have fully Air conditioner classes and a hygiene is maintained in the college
It is average type . Not so much quality education . Teachers are always try to complete their syllabus as much fast they can and not focusing about the real quality education that a student actual needs .
For my course , it is nil . One of always our teacher always told us to find another opportunity rather than any expectation from this course . They actually give us advice to go into another field of our interest .
Campus Life is so much better than other colleges . Just one thing is not suitable , i.e ground area . Our ground is so small . It is only meant for the name . Just an formality to build a ground but actually it is a small garden
The infrastructure is pretty good and beautiful with all the necessary facilities around. There is one girl's hostel and two boy's hostel inside the campus itself with all the necessary facilities (wifi, mess etc) provided. The classrooms, mess and canteens are big , well ventilated and hygienic enough .
I m studying CSE here and the quality is teaching is good , but the staff management is still average as this is a newer college than others . Otherwise the college provides all the facilities and knowledge for us to be up to date with technologies and development going around. No doubt that this college prepares us for job as it's more inclined towards practical knowledge with internships provided in each semester.
The placement ratio is increasing year by year but still the placement quality is average. Around 60% pf students are placed and the highest package till date was of 15-17 lacs. The college is quite supportive in it's placement process although it is quite difficult but it recruits students into GFSC also in a significant amount .
The campus is situated inside the township of GSFC Ltd. with all the greenery around and fresh air around. We have got facilities for all sports and swimming (indoor and outdoor stadiums )and there are many beautiful gardens around to relax . It has a very home-like and friendly environment with also a safe environment for girls . The township is quite big but there are security guards on duty all the time in every part of it.
Excellent infrastructure of this college. It has all the basic requirements in the whole canpus. Campus containing 4 campus. It has two playgrounds one is outdoor for boys and one is indoor for girls. It has two auditorium and well maintained infrastructure.
Academics of this college is not that much good. In cse not all professors are experts nd permanent. The bad things about this college is 75% attendance system.even the 4th sem students are detained here.
Placement is worst at this college even this is a main campus and it has 250+ affiliated campuses. This year only 20% students of cse gets placement from here. The average placement was 5lpa. And the highest was 17lpa .
College has a nice atmosphere and very lively with all the necessary facilities and the labs have all the materials required. Campus is WiFi enabled and is maintained well. Living spaces are clean and well maintained.
Due to the pandemic my first year is online so we don't have face to face interaction but the teachers are all very nice and supportive and teaches really good and I'm able to comprehend everything and notes provided are also helpful.
I have no idea about the placement since my first year is online mode and I don't have much interaction with seniors and about the placement policy of the college and the packages offered to the students.
The college has many societies which we can join according to our likes. There are 2 annual fests in a year which are really fun.Various activities are arranged by societies which are really fun.
Best infrastructure but the study and learning is not too much effective because you own self have to explore things and some teachers don't have too much experience . I suggest don't take specialisation courses because its waste of money and in this cost you can do many courses
I think the study is not too much productive because you have to explore things yourself . Teachers just tell you concept and go ... You ownself have to work on it and boost up your skills . Teachers are not too good
I am in 1zt year so i can't tell about placement cells but many companies visits campus and college itself give many opportunities and run many intership programs . College update you with intership programs .
Yes, my collage have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment libraries, lab, wifi, available does not avalible for students our collage is big and well planned class room are not so much good but average living space are good and big
Being a private college the teacher are qualified with having experience the quality of teaching is average howerver teacher are supportive and friendly in nature our curriculum is updated students is punctual and disciplined with knowledge of syllabus
The placement is average not so much good the average package was 4-5 lakh per annum college is not very much supportive towards placement if students want to get job then they have to apply off campus
Campus life is best for me I'm hosteller so I enjoyed my campus life too much the students are engaged in fresher party, archivers and many other sports activity the students and teacher were good and supportive the college is location is not good it is present in rural area
All the class room are having enough fans and space to sit comfortably. Secondly it's washroom is so bad that if someone has to go urgently he/she will think twice or thrice before they use. Even their Washrooms are not having windows. Do not enough space to stand while examination time.
It is good because all the books has to be finished by the students because it is open. So their academic is good. Only the problem is their strategy of giving marks. They(teachers) don't give as much marks compare to other college's students even writing enough answer for the question. And in result we get very low marks than others and resultant we(students) gets adverse effect in job interview.
My college do not conduct placement because it is a open University. Or may be for other courses they do but till now i have not seen such activities in my university. So even they are conducting placements, i am sure that selection of the students are very low.
First of all my university doesn't have campus. But yes location is absolute best. The problem is with the staffs over there. They all talk like they don't have time to talk to their own college students. Their behaviour is very rude.
Well since I haven't really been to college yet (covid), I can't say for sure. However, I've heard from my seniors and teachers that the college is quite beautiful, and the lawn, especially, is luscious. The facilities are okay (from what I've heard).
I'm studying economics honours. The teachers are very knowledgeable and sweet. The course is hard, of course, but interesting. The curriculum is good, all colleges of DU follow the same curriculum. In 1st year it's hard to say if the curriculum is preparing me for jobs yet.
The internships are good, regarding job placements I currently don't know myself. I did an internship recently that the placement cell provided and it was satisfactory. About jobs I haven't explored yet.
The location is beautiful, it's in Chanakyapuri surrounded by embassies. Travel is easy to, metro is directly connected. Campus I currently have no idea. The teachers are sweet and supportive.
College has all the facilities and infrastructure to carry out lab work and aany additional student projects of their interest. Libraries have vast collection of books not limited to studies but also related to general knowledge and leisure.
I am an undergraduate in mechanical engineering and the quality of teaching is student-friendly where they have the liberty to chose their modules and the curriculum is also regularly updated to keep it at par with the latest real-world developments
I have chosen to pursue further studies so did not opt for placements. My fellow students who have opted have been placed successfully in MNC's with a good salary package. When it comes to placements there's a dedicated department and team who offer training to crack high paying jobs with ease.
Campus life is amazing with lush greenery all sides and the huge campus with many sports and other recreational facilities. They conduct technical, traditional and yearly fests which are much needed to refresh ourselves from the academics.
College always had a focus on small details and has all the basic facilities and it deserved to be an A+ grade college by far it’s standards. It has a huge ground, state of the art 2 auditoriums, all classrooms equipped with smart learning tech, each and every detail for us was available on our smartphone like attendance. Food at canteen used to be one of the best part, a place was hygienic surrounding with massive trees which creates different aura overall. Also Library here had every book.
I was a BBA student for 2016-19 batch. First of all when I joined criteria was overall cutoffs and it went pretty high upto 92 percent. It was one of my desired college and I was lucky to be here. There was stiff competition in academics as quality of students studied here is next level. Peer learning here is amazing.
There were many MNCs used to come for jobs like ICICI, L&T, Deloitte, Airtel. Packages offered by all of them were lucrative and highest yearly package offered was of 6LPA. Average LPA was 3.5Lakhs. College was very supportive in the whole process. They guided us a lot and around 80percent of the batch got placed.
I still can’t accept our college is over. It’s just this memorial. It’s nostalgic. Sometimes it still feels like that we have to go college tomorrow. From location of college to teachers, students it’s one of the best part of my life.
I haven't visited my college yet due to covid and studying online as of now???which is very sad.As far as my knowledge is concern, college have good facilities of lab, classrooms, libraries and sports facilities are too good,.as far as hostels are concerned ,they are quite average and simply hygienic.
I am studying btech in mechanical ,the quality of teaching is quite average.i think practical knowledge still needs to be promoted in my branch as mechanical branch requires a very deep core knowledge, but college have good societies where we can grow and brush up our skills.
For my branch ,it's average but talking about tech branches it's very good, even cs students have grabbed placement in google, microsoft,. every big companies. .highest package in my branch is average8lakh but in cs highest package is 1.5cr
Just amazing, full moz , opportunity to learn, various societies ,tech cultural ,good sports, seniors are helpful, good canteen ,???andothers also
One can find a new home in our college, beautiful and scenic at the same time it offers excellent academics and co curricular activities. Placements is quite average. Canteen provides everything one needs.
Excellent academics and staff. Teachers are very helpful and caring. Everyone is so humble so it always feels like you are in your own home. You can't feel weird here it is just like our second home. Life is good here.
The placements are above average and you can apply for any of the short term courses to get a positive mark in the CV. Students often get above average placements in multi national companies And other private sectors
Great
Infrastructure at college was good. There was a beautiful academic block here, a special common room for girls. College had wifi connections, big library, a digital library with wide collection of different books. All classes were also equipped with smart boards technology. All and over we had all facilities which were required by us.
Teachers and professors here are strict when it comes to studies, as college keeps their cutoffs high, a major chunk of students are those who actively participates in academics which generates a sense of competition among all of us. Curriculum was regularly updated like GST came as soon as it was introduced.
Whole college staff and teachers here are supportive and they do their best to get the best results out there. Average salary offered in our tenure was of around 3.5LPA and highest crossed 6LPA. Placement process was easy and many MNCs come here but more companies can come so that everyone of us gets placed.
The college provide well infrastucture and have all the needed equipments, the hostel provides good quality of food and the cafeterias are very hygienic. They provide wifi facility to students of the hostel as well.
Somehow they provide good education, they have qualified teachers as well. The form of there teaching is very good, all the teachers treat the students in a good manner. The online classes are interesting because of the teachers.
They provide good placement, our college is providing placements in this pandemic situation too. Many companies are offering valuable packages to the students so that they could build up with there future.
The campus life is quite amazing it has a very wide area for students to play, the provide gyming and also seminars take place. They provide the best security in lucknow, commanders are always there on the gates and no one can create mess in the campus.
DAVV provides all necessary facilities to the students. It's infrastructure is excellent classrooms are furnished, it has fans, tubelights, benches, boardetc. The classrooms are properly ventilated. The campus is very clean. It has proper sanitattion facilities. It has library in which books and magazines are available. There is separate sports ground and a sports department from which we can get equipment needed for sports. There is free wifi facility available in college.
I am studying b.com taxation from davv university, I am pursuing for this degree because it gives a great knowledge about taxation policy. It has good scope in future in field of income tax. The teachers teaches us very effectively and efficiently and they use various methods to make us understand the topic. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes the recent changes in syllabus and policies of india. Yes this course makes us job and industry ready because of visits to factory and internships.
Placement cell of DAVV university is very strong and of outstanding quality. Around 90% of the students get placements from college every year. The highest package is 25 lakh per annum. Many indian companies visits university for hiring freshers. The average salary may range between 5-20 lakh per annum. Yes the placement process is very easy and pleasant. My college faculty and staff are very supportive. They help students when ever needed.
College campus is outstanding. It has various facilities, parking area, bank in college campus, central Library, sports ground, book availability, hostel facility, etc. The best part is festival and events. College celebrate every festival very enthusiastically and it looks like a carnival at place. Teachers and seniors are supportive. There is no discrimination in college. The location is very safe. There is easy access to transport.
Infrastructure is decent. The classrooms are neat but no AC in most classes . Food quality is good and prices are reasonable . You will find a huge playground where you can sit , eat, food ,play but no specialist sports grounds except for basketball. The mechanical equipment are old and outdated , few concepts they might help to understand ;however not more than that. Only few classrooms have projectors , and only specific work; Rest you will find a blackboard.
Teaching is decent , condition you come to class regularly. If you read the topics cover daily then you good scores are standard . However this is ideal case and most college students prepare during exams . You will find 6 subjects in mechanical in each semester which i find quite unnecessary. Many topics are outdated and reference books are all 20 years old . We are taught software required for mechanical , but stressed upon . This results in poor placements and having gate as only option.
Mechanical placement are quite less throughout Indian colleges and uiet is no exception. You can either get an PSU , DRDO, Isro through GATE or job opportunities are quite less. You can get into software where jobs are reasonably sufficient. If you go by highest placements then , you fooling yourself. Yet big names come like Microsoft , amazon giving 40 lk +. But that always few geniuses. Average placement in mechanical is low and other branches have better but not full for most(exception CSE).
Campus life is not about campus but the life in it i.e. the students. The more good friends you make the more you enjoy. You can have food together , play some gully cricket and sit and talk about life .You meet people from different backgrounds, and its all fun.
With a gym, a pool, and facility of each sport and outstanding design of the building the NMIMS University has one of the best infrastructure present in any college of India and has everything that need for any student to develop skills in any sort.
The college focus only on assignment and not on any kind of practical knowledge. Their course is designed in that way that they are not giving giving any deep knowledge in any subject, instead they are just starting each subject and their basics.
Have average package of 4.5 lack in Btech and 9.5 kahi par annum we have a nice average package when compared to most of the btech colleges in India. The main reason is the professors teach regularly in the lectures.
We're living a great campus life when the rooms, infrastructure is considered but when it comes to the rules of the college, we're living
The college has well built classroom, a good and hygiene friendly canteen along with nescafe, well equiped computer and science labs , reading room , library , two auditoriums and an open ground area.
GGDSD has been ranked best among the top colleges of Chandigarh for Commerce and Management. Most of the teachers are highly qualified , experienced and friendly which serves as aid in the journey of learning.
Placement opportunities are ample for both graduating and graduated students from top companies like Ernst and Young , Amazon etc. The college placement cell disburses through it's email facility enough opportunity for students.
With numerous fests and cultural activities happening throughout the year , the campus life is one of a lifetime opportunity for anyone who seeks admission here along with the networking opportunity for students.
