The RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal, was established in 2004. It is one of the prime institutions of pharmaceutical education in Haryana, India. It's an affiliated college on a 2.86-acre extended campus at Ambala Road, which helps the student pharmacists learn within perfect surroundings. The college is well-recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, thus guaranteeing its adherence to industry standards. With a total enrollment of 486 students and a faculty of 25, the student-to-faculty ratio of RKSD College of Pharmacy is fair enough—neither too high to ignore the requisites of attending to the individual needs of students nor too low that it would not ensure quality education.

RKSD College of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical programs catering to various educational levels. The institute has a 4-year full-time Bachelor of Pharmacy program with an intake of 100 seats for 2-year Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics with an intake of 9 seats and a 2-year full-time course with an intake of 60 seats. These programs allow students to select a line of courses based on their aptitude and interest in the pharmaceutical sector. There are a total of 169 seats in the courses, all of which are sanctioned intake, so there are ample opportunities available for aspirants willing to join the institute.   

The process of admission to RKSD College of Pharmacy is, however, different for the various programs. Admissions to the B.Pharma program occur based on merit in 10+2 (Science Stream) by attaining a good score under the control of a university. The M.Pharma Pharmaceutics program is conducted under the preference of GPAT score, followed by academic merit in B.Pharmacy as per the guidelines of the government and the university. The course structure of the D.Pharma is different: 75% of the seats are through online counselling exercised by HSES according to 10+2 (Science stream) merit, and eventually, if any management quota seats fall vacant, they are filled at the institute level.
