Registration for admission to Salesian College Sonada ends in May 2024.

Salesian College began operations in Shillong in 1933 before moving to Sonada in 1938. It is covered under the UGC Act of 1956 Section 2(f) and Section 12(B). Over 2200 students attend Salesian College (SC), a North Bengal University (NBU)-an affiliated, minority Catholic educational school managed by Salesians of Don Bosco in Kolkata Province. Salesian College is a government-recognised college.

Salesian College is affiliated with the University of North Bengal, Siliguri. Following the introduction of Education and Philosophy as BA disciplines, Salesian College acquired affiliation for the BA Honours Course in English and History in 1970 and 1979, respectively. Salesian College courses include B.Sc (Hons), BA(Hons), and B.Com (Hons) and others at the UG Level. Aspirants are given ample Salesian College facilities at the campus.

And Salesian College course MA with specialisations at PG Level. It acquired affiliation for a course in education honours in 2006. In 2002, the college established a Department of Computer Skills, which provides the DIT and ADIT courses. Salesian College Admission into the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the college. Eligible students can avail the benefits of Salesian College placement opportunities.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is absolutely good. It has all the necessary facilities and equipment’s that is required in every college. The college campus is well maintained and is clean. The canteen area is hygienic.

College Infrastructure

Our college has a very good environment to study. The environment is peaceful surrounded by trees. There is a Big Library where all types of books are available. College has got campus WiFi but the speed is slow because most of the student use it to download. The canteen has got good food.

College Infrastructure

Our college campus is clean and Green Campus. Classrooms are equipped with all facility. Whole campus is WiFi Enabled. There is hostel facility which provides good food. The Canteen's Food is healthy and hygienic. Sports room has almost all sports equipment.

Hello student.

The Salesian college sonada, Darjeeling is a Government recognised institution run by Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata. It offers various courses in fields of science, commerce and humanities. And yes, they have a psychology department.

The fees is estimated around 44,500 of 1st year and the admission is done through an entrance aptitude test. Hope it clears all your queries.
