I have pursued for BCOM Honours as I am interested in it and side by side I have pursued for CA for which BCOM Honours is the best course to apply for. The curriculum activities in college is well updated and there are various type of organisations in college through which students are given the opportunity to show their talent and interest. What I study is making me a confident as well as a job-ready person.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is absolutely good. It has all the necessary facilities and equipment’s that is required in every college. The college campus is well maintained and is clean. The canteen area is hygienic.
Campus Life
The college campus is wonderful. There is a huge open hall in the center of the college. Different types of plants are planted which makes it very soothing. The students, teachers and support staff are very helpful and polite. The college is located inside a lane. Yes it is safe and can handle emergencies.
Placements
The placement procedure was very smooth. There was no rush for taking the interview. It went on very smoothly. The placement process was easy and pleasant. The faculty members asked questions from different subjects. The interview was quite interactive. The college was very supportive regarding any issue relating to the admissions.
Value For Money
My course .i.e. BCOM Honours costed me around ₹60,000 in my 1st year as it also includes the admission fee. Yes I am absolutely getting my money’s worth. The college has been conducting various seminars every month which is very interesting and helpful for our future beside that various competitions are being held which is helping me to build up my confidence and learn new things.

The teachers are very much helpful, Experienced and Qualified. They help us in doing college projects and Internships. The Exams are held two times a year, papers are checked very strictly. The courses are Well Updated and made easy.
College Infra
Our college has a very good environment to study. The environment is peaceful surrounded by trees. There is a Big Library where all types of books are available. College has got campus WiFi but the speed is slow because most of the student use it to download. The canteen has got good food.
Placements
Our College has got placement percentage of about 10 - 15%. The salary offered is very low, averagely around 1.2 lacs per annum. Only local come to hire the students. Big Companies Rarely visit our college.

Our teachers are very much experienced and each teacher have at least a Master's Degree, Our one teacher has Completed Master's and CS and currently in last stage of CA. Their teaching technique is best. The Courses are pretty much updated every year.
College Infra
Our college campus is clean and Green Campus. Classrooms are equipped with all facility. Whole campus is WiFi Enabled. There is hostel facility which provides good food. The Canteen's Food is healthy and hygienic. Sports room has almost all sports equipment.
Placements
Very Few students gets Placement from our College, rather very less Students are interested in getting a Job, most of them go for Higher Studies. Almost everyone is provided with a Paid Internship. The average package a student gets while placement is around 2 LPA.

The Salesian college sonada, Darjeeling is a Government recognised institution run by Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata. It offers various courses in fields of science, commerce and humanities. And yes, they have a psychology department.
