Sanjeevan Engineering and Technology Institute was established in the year 2009 at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The College campus is spread on a sprawling 12.9 acres of land. It is an affiliated college granted accreditation by NAAC and approved by AICTE. SETI has a diverse range of 17 courses in 4 degree programs and a total student enrolment of 1,215. The strength of the faculty is 110, and hence the student-to-teacher ratio is definitely in favor of the students. Specializing in engineering, technology, and management education, SETI has carved a place for itself in the region as one of the prime movers of technical education into the 21st century.

The institute prides itself in bringing a comprehensive learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities. Besides these, it extends the facilities of well-equipped laboratories to its students of SETI, such as Electrical Machine Lab, Basic Electrical Lab, and High Voltage Lab which provide practical exposure in the respective fields. A modern library is available on the campus with a huge collection of 16,673 books and 3,275 titles, subscription to 61 national and international journals. Great sports facilities at SETI for all-round development include a semi-Olympic size swimming pool having an area of 25x16.5 sq feet. In student welfare too, the institute has provided separate hostels for boys and girls, so that students coming from outstation find this educational institute comfortable to live in.

The academic portfolio of SETI comprises a long array of courses spread over 17 full-time programs across disciplines. The undergraduate level courses provided are BE in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Computer Engineering. Besides, the institute offers the diploma programs in streams of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. The Institute also expanded its bouquet with the inclusion of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Art and Painting and Master of Business Administration with specializations in Business Analytics, Human Resource Development and Management, Information Technology and Systems Management, and Marketing and Finance. 

The admission process is quite fair and transparent and follows rules as per regulatory bodies. It accepts the JEE (Main) and MHT CET scores for admission to its engineering programmes, thereby providing an opportunity for the meritorious students of the state and all over the country to get educated in this esteemed institute.
