Sant Vinoba PG College, Deoria, is a prestigious institute with co-ed features affiliated to Uttar Pradesh and a college that has been NAAC accredited and BCI recognized. It is an institution of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, Law, and Social Sciences.

Applications are now open and consist of a merit-based admission process. According to the Uttar Pradesh university academic calendar, the general admission process starts somewhere during the summer months for the academic year beginning from July/August.

1. Notice: The announcement related to the formal date, its notice or advertisement, and admission for others will be given through their announcement of notice.

2. Admission Form: The candidate gets the admission from the college either online or offline in the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Attach along with the application:

   • Passport size photographs

   • Mark sheets of the qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, or graduation as applicable)

   • Character certificate from the last institution attended

   • Transfer Certificate

   • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

   • And any other relevant certificates as specified.

4. Application Fee: Pay the prescribed fee as mentioned in the notice.

5. Entrance Test / Merit List:

   • Candidates have to take an entrance test for LLB programs unless they are granted admission on a merit basis.

   • Other programs: merit lists are made on the basis of scores in qualifying examinations.

6. Counselling and Admission: Shortlisted students will go for counseling and choose the courses based on merit rank and availability of their seats with actual document verification and fee payment for confirmation.

7. Orientation: New students are oriented about the college rules, college facilities, and what is expected from them concerning academics.

• BA: Admission is strictly on merit based, with the overall percentage at the 10+2 level as the criteria for selection.

• B.Com: The admission is based on the score in the 10+2 examination based on the commerce subjects concerning the maximum preference shall be given to these subjects.

• MA: Subjects are English, Sociology, Political Science, and Hindi (60 seats each); admission is based on performance in the subject at the undergraduate level.

• LLB: Admission is based on either merit or entrance exam, and the college may either conduct its own test or consider some recognized law entrance examinations.
