36 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year, six-month full-time diploma program offered by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English and must have obtained at least 40% in the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in the Vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
She registered ANM with a pass mark.
For foreign nationals
The entry qualification equivalency, i.e., 12th standard, will be obtained by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, the State Nursing Council will be responsible for ensuring that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed above.
