Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering was established in the year 2002, under the aegis of the Sasi Group of Institutions. The campus of the Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering, Tadepalligudem is spread across 28 acres of area. The institute is situated in the West Godavari District of Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering, Tadepalligudem is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The institute has been accredited by NAAC - National Assessment and Accreditation Council and along with NBA - National Board of Accreditation. 

Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering has been approved by the AICTE - All India Council for Technical Education. Earlier the institute offered 4 undergraduate courses and now it offers 8 undergraduate courses in the stream of B.Tech - Bachelor of Technology, 7 postgraduate courses in the stream of M.Tech - Masters of Technology and M.B.A programme, and 3 diploma courses.

The nearest railway station to the institute is Tadepalligudem Railway Station, which is around 12-15 kms away from the Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering. One can take a local bus from the Tadepalligudem bus stop to reach the institute and can even take the institute’s bus (if available at that time) to reach. The bus will drop the person in front of the Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering gate. The nearest airport to the college is Rajahmundry Airport. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering offers a wide range of infrastructural facilities to its students and staff on campus. On the university campus, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls and all the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. At the undergraduate level, Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering offers admission to full time (4 years) B.Tech courses. M.Tech., M.B.A., are among the postgraduate programmes offered by the institute. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering admission offer three diploma based courses in the stream of technology and engineering. Admission to undergraduate engineering programmes is done based on the entrance exam - EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of score secured in GATE or AP-PGCET entrance exam. The admission to the Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering M.B.A programme is based on the entrance exam AP - ICET (Andhra Pradesh - Integrated Common Entrance Test) and the admission in diploma course is offered on the score obtained in the CEEP (Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnic). • Applicant need to fill out the EAMCET entrance application form.

• Appear for the entrance exam and obtain a valid score and rank.

• A merit list is released after the declaration of the result of entrance exam.
