School of Advanced Engineering (SoAE), UPES Dehradun offers a wide range of infrastructural facilities for its students and faculty members. UPES School of Advanced Engineering facilities include a library, separate hostels for boys and girls, a canteen, a gymnasium and other amenities. College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the university of petroleum and energy studies is very beautiful. It is located between the mountains and the scene is very peaceful and happy everyday. Lab are pretty decent and well equipped.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is great of this college. The area around the college is vey peaceful and the internal area is very well equipped with all the facilities. Students are allowed to use all the resources.

College Infrastructure

The college has excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, a vast library, and good sports facilities. The campus is clean and spacious with reliable Wi-Fi. Hostels are well-maintained, and the food served is hygienic. Overall, the environment is very student-friendly.

University of petroleum and energy studies (upes) tire 2 college?

There is no official Tier-1 or Tier-2 classification in India. However, based on its reputation, rankings, and placements, UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) in Dehradun is generally seen as a Tier-2 private university.

UPES is UGC approved and NAAC “A” accredited. It ranks among the top 50 universities in India according to NIRF, indicating it has strong academic standing. It is especially known for its courses in petroleum, energy, law, management, and specialized engineering.

That said, it is not considered Tier-1. This category usually includes IITs, top NITs, and BITS Pilani, which have much higher competition and a stronger national reputation.

In conclusion, UPES is a solid Tier-2 private university. It suits students looking for industry-focused education and decent job placements.
