BA Political Science Hons at School of Liberal Studies, UPES Dehradun Offline Course

The BA in POLITICAL SCIENCE program offered by UPES is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in Political Science and Public Policy, while also allowing them to explore connections with other disciplines such as history, economics, and sociology. Through case studies and field-based research, students gain a deeper understanding of the political landscape and its impact on society.

By taking a transdisciplinary approach, the program emphasizes the interconnections between various social science disciplines and sub-fields of Political Science, including contemporary Indian politics, comparative politics, political economy, climate, and international relations. This approach is essential in tackling real-world challenges that require a holistic understanding of socio-political and economic issues. The BA in POLITICAL SCIENCE program spans four years and consists of 54 credits for core courses. Additionally, students have the opportunity to choose a second major from allied disciplines such as history, economics, or sociology.
